CNCnet can't start ra2 campaign from the launcher since 8.55.0

Before the update , the ra2 campaign worked (launched) but not the the yuri campaign.

Now since 8.55.0 yuri works (launches) but not the ra2 campaign. I have the old game "Driver" from 1999 installed (in its own folder) as well and this game also uses "game.exe" to launch and somehow the launcher from cnc seems to use this game.exe from driver instead of the one from ra2. Found out about it in the event viewer.

Would be nice to fix it. If i rename the game.exe from the game driver to game2.exe, ra2 campaign starts. Why the heck would it even use this exe at all ?

 

Using the Steam Version. Also on the E: drive.

Hey there

The Beta client supports the campaign. you won't need to run the base version of the game to play the campaign anymore. 

 here's a tutorial on how to get the beta version of the client, look in the timestamps.

yeah i know, its just that the beta has additional starting options and i just like to start the base game from it in the live version. Before the update, the base game worked but not yuri. Now its the other way around. I'm sure it will be looked into because it doesn't make sense starting another game.exe in a different folder. Thanks!
