That's interesting so it was an issue with CnC-DDraw. Not many people have issues. So when they show up they are usually local to the computer they show up on. There are plenty of people who are able to install and just run the game hence why there are usually quite a few people playing RA1 so your solution does not apply to everyone. What do you mean with smaller screen and different scroll? Assigning compatibility modes might not be a good idea as they might conflict with other compatibility things already applied to RA. It's strange that SP works, but not MP. Have you tried running skirmish through CnCNet or are you using the old standard skirmish? Do you have a ra95dump file in your RA folder? Sometimes a download can become corrupt as they download due to connection issues or something similar. Anyway, can you tell us more about the crash? What does the error message say? What did you try to do to that made it crash? You don't have to install the campaign to play online.

Many mods like Tiberian Dawn Redux, Cold War crisis, Shockwave etc already have launchers that manage their files. However I usually just make a copy of my game folder regardless just to be safe.

Maybe disabling graphics patch will help the freezing issues.

I don't have issues with any black borders when I play when I play the game in 16:9 resolutions. I usually play in 1280 x 720 and my monitor is 2560 x 1440 natively. Can you post your settings (screenshot the tool) and more information about your PC?

Yes for a little while my Windows Defender went crazy and deleted some of the installers I had archived. It seems to behave now though.

That's a strange issue. That server isn't even used any more by CnCNet.

Once issues like these are ironed out. When did you download the TS SP installer? When you open the config program do you have an option for dxwnd?

This is a classic problem. This is not because of missing DLL files, but rather TS failing to register BLOWFISH.DLL. Try to patch your install with this: http://forums.cncnet.org/index.php?topic=3438.0

The multiplayer version can be uninstalled by simply deleting the folder. You might have an item "TSCompatFix" or something in Add/Remove programs uninstall that if you have it too.

Thanks. Just curious: What game are you playing? None of the games CnCNet supports were released in 1992. The oldest game we support is the original Command & Conquer and that came out in 1995.

The leaderboards are not active right now. They might become active again during the summer as a newer version develops.

Can you tell us about the computer you are running this on? There are similar sorts of issues on the Microsoft Surface Pro. By the way did you try the DPI scaling suggestion?

Seems like you have the DPI scaling problem when you run the game in fullscreen, maybe it is messing with the game in windowed mode as well.
