  1. Merged with your other topic. Does the campaign work if you rename "rules.ini" to something else like "rules2.ini"? PS: It is generally better to manually modify a rules.ini file manually with a text editor like Notepad than using TibEd as TibEd adds a bunch of unneeded or sometimes invalid options to rules entries potentially causing issues.

Try setting your Windows scaling to 100% or disable scaling for only TS. Both are described in my post above.

That could be a high DPI issue. Try this: right click on game.exe (in the folder you installed TS) click on "Properties" then on the "Compatibility" tab and check "Disable DPI scaling" (If you got latest Win10: check it and set it to "Application") Alternatively you can you can disable this scaling for your entire system (and probably make the text tiny in all your applications) by right clicking on the desktop clicking on "display settings" scrolling down to "Scale and layout" and set "Change the size of text, apps and other items" to 100%.
  4. Have you tried hosting a game using a different connection method? There are two methods currently: P2P and Automatic.
  5. Hey, have you installed Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge before you tried to install the CnCNet client for Yuri's Revenge?
  6. That's weird, have you tried it again? Maybe there was a small connection hiccup somewhere?
  7. Uh, guess I'm blind then. I didn't notice the tag
  8. Which game are you referring to? Anyhow if you manage to get the games running on your Mac using a compatibility layer like PlayOnMac or Crossover you will be able to play against people on Windows. Some of the downloads here do provide a Mac version wrapped in such a compatibility layer already that might work, but I don't know as I don't have a Mac myself.
  9. IIRC the CnCNet client for C&C1, RA1, Dune2k and TS requires dotnet framework 2.0 try installing that first. It is the last version that was released for Win98. Otherwise you need at least XP.
  10. The reason why CnCNet doesn't have a built in random map generator is simply because no one has had an interest high enough to create one. Not to mention having to figure out how the map generators work.
  11. As @Plokite_Wolf said Dune Legacy is not Dune II. A OpenDune or Dune Dynasty with multiplayer support would've been interesting though.
  12. Yeah there are more bugs to fix. Hopefully it will be solved on Tuesday
  13. Most likely a false positive. AV vendors are very paranoid about new files they have not seen before. Defining them as generic Trojans or viruses.
  14. Go to your profile and click on the lower left corner of the profile picture there is an almost invisible icon there currently.
  15. Hello, we do not support C&C3/KW however the people at https://cnc-online.net/en/ do.
  16. The transition messed up a lot of permission related things, but they should be fixed now. Posts should be editable for an unlimited amount of time Everyone should be able to see attachments Everyone should be able to download attachments Anyone registered should be able to upload attachments Things that are work in progress: Restoring old similes/emoticons Links Restoring ranks Other things that show up If enough people want a cnc-comm style theme I guess I'll make one when I have time
  17. @sgtmyers88 It was a permissions issue, should be fixed now.
  18. For that to be answered correctly Funky needs to chime in too. As his client is the official C&C1, RA1, Dune 2k and TS client. If he keeps stats like this that is.
  19. For Red Alert the DOS and Windows 95 versions are on the same CD.
  20. Expansion videos are from Red Alert Retaliation the PS1 version of CS and AM. Nyerguds made a pack for the PC called "The Lost Files" which contains them. http://forums.cncnz.com/topic/16270-red-alert-the-lost-files-v11-campaign-movies/?p=229401 and btw EA themselves forgot to upload CS and AM. I wonder why CnCNZ are serving a corrupted AM ISO though.
  21. 2.0 is 1.08 + Aftermath Counterstrike CD is 468.2 MB Aftermath CD is 520.5 MB If I remember correctly the CS and AM CD's include some of the videos from the RA CD's as they have some original missions so you can start either the Allies or Soviet campaign without changing CD. In addition they include some CD's quality music for playing in a stereo or music player.
  22. I'm the best Tiberian Dawn player ever. I mainly play the Goths for their huskarls and their anarchy and perfusion upgrade. If my huskarls get killed by Obelisks of light, I usually change to Battlecruisers.
