  1. Yeah there are more bugs to fix. Hopefully it will be solved on Tuesday
  2. Tore

    Missing shortcut

Most likely a false positive. AV vendors are very paranoid about new files they have not seen before. Defining them as generic Trojans or viruses.
  3. Go to your profile and click on the lower left corner of the profile picture there is an almost invisible icon there currently.
  4. Hello, we do not support C&C3/KW however the people at https://cnc-online.net/en/ do.
  5. The transition messed up a lot of permission related things, but they should be fixed now. Posts should be editable for an unlimited amount of time Everyone should be able to see attachments Everyone should be able to download attachments Anyone registered should be able to upload attachments Things that are work in progress: Restoring old similes/emoticons Links Restoring ranks Other things that show up If enough people want a cnc-comm style theme I guess I'll make one when I have time
  6. @sgtmyers88 It was a permissions issue, should be fixed now.
  7. For that to be answered correctly Funky needs to chime in too. As his client is the official C&C1, RA1, Dune 2k and TS client. If he keeps stats like this that is.
  8. For Red Alert the DOS and Windows 95 versions are on the same CD.
  9. Expansion videos are from Red Alert Retaliation the PS1 version of CS and AM. Nyerguds made a pack for the PC called "The Lost Files" which contains them. http://forums.cncnz.com/topic/16270-red-alert-the-lost-files-v11-campaign-movies/?p=229401 and btw EA themselves forgot to upload CS and AM. I wonder why CnCNZ are serving a corrupted AM ISO though.
  10. 2.0 is 1.08 + Aftermath Counterstrike CD is 468.2 MB Aftermath CD is 520.5 MB If I remember correctly the CS and AM CD's include some of the videos from the RA CD's as they have some original missions so you can start either the Allies or Soviet campaign without changing CD. In addition they include some CD's quality music for playing in a stereo or music player.
  11. I'm the best Tiberian Dawn player ever. I mainly play the Goths for their huskarls and their anarchy and perfusion upgrade. If my huskarls get killed by Obelisks of light, I usually change to Battlecruisers.
  12. The github for cnc-ddraw is linked on cnc-ddraw site. https://github.com/hifi/cnc-ddraw It works partially for many games. I have even used it for StarCraft in fullscreen mode with the mouse hacks disabled.
  13. If I remember correctly CnCNet 3 to 4 is only two files: cncnet.exe and wsock32.dll.
  14. Doesn't originate from Red Alert, it is like this in the first C&C as well. As a setting it originates from the Tiberian Sun rules.ini file.
  15. These are cool. I mostly prefer the designs in C&C1 over the ones in Renegade.
  16. There's even a Skirmish button when you start CnCNet if you want to play skirmish with CnCNet features.
  17. Except that the game was released closer to November 17th 1996 https://web.archive.org/web/19971009175538/http://www.westwood.com/games/redalert/news.html
  18. That was it! Thanks. The game runs fine now (practice mode only, of course), with two exceptions: The map scroll speed is very fast, even on the lowest settings, and the menu windows are transparent for some reason (i.e. there is no background and you can see the map or other menus underneath). Try and set maxfps to 300 in ddraw.ini and HardwareFills to 0 in conquer.ini.
  19. Enabling Aftermath enables the changes and new units that appeared in The Aftermath expansion.
  20. are you trying to launch Sole.exe with a compatibility mode? If so disable it and try again.
  21. If you want to have windowed mode on Sole Survivor you could use cnc-ddraw: http://hifi.iki.fi/cnc-ddraw/
  22. What game are you talking about? It sounds like Tiberian Sun issues.
