  1. The obvious fix seems to be... change to lower resolution. You have to realize, RA2YR is NOT a recent game. It has its limits, and the higher the resolution, the more objects are on screen, and the sooner you reach those limits.
  2. Shit's card, yo. So card. ...yeah. No clue.
  3. Remove the "s" and it works. Really, how hard is that? Change the https to http As for the embed code itself, I dunno. Never looked at that. That's Tore's side of things.
  4. lol. Are you for real? cncnet is completely volunteer-driven. And contrary to apparent popular belief, "hacking xwis" doesn't earn you any brownie points at all with us. It just shows malicious intent. Not a good thing to start out with.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jz8c17upEwM P. S.: I am a wizard P. P. S.: Remove the first "S" to make it work :heady:
  6. Hello! My name is Nyerguds, and I know Pascal, PHP, Javascript, C#, Java, and x86 Assembler
  7. Why do you think hacking is inherently bad? Educate yourself! http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/hacker-howto.html#what_is http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hacker Thanks for the welcome, though... So, exactly what kind of "hacking" do you partake in, then? The binary bowel diving to modify compiled executables that us cncnet folks quite regularly undertake, or the security/website stuff that's something totally different and unrelated?
  8. lol. No, that's not considered "hacking". Especially not by the people of CnCNet, who are more than familiar with actually digging into the binary bowels of the C&C games XD
  9. Well, until the Covert Ops and Special Ops, you mean Are you going to do the dinosaur campaign too?
  10. what do you mean? Well, I thought it was just an indestructible terrain piece
  11. The SSM was obviously made different-looking just so it's easy to distinguish the two, of course.
  12. that's because it has only 48x96 pixels. there are no slots for larger buildings (except you overwrite conyard, proc etc). Oh, it's an actual building? So I take it you're using V37, then?
  13. Sure. But unlike Dynasty, it's not actually the original Dune II game. It's like playing OpenRA to play RA1 in higher resolution, compared to the RA1 version we use around here with hi-res patched in
  14. Being abandonware does not make a game legal to distribute freely, though. It just means the chance of the owning company taking legal action for distributing it is practically nonexistent. Still, distributing it is often frowned upon if it's not actually freeware.
  15. I wrote a full guide to installing Dune Dynasty a while back http://forum.dune2k.com/topic/24316-dune-dynasty/?p=391240
  16. Psssh. You still didn't beat all missions, though
  17. Yeah, a single-frame SHP will probably do fine. It just needs that SHP file. An actual build-up animation is much nicer, though
  18. I love that Nod chopper mission! That GDI Moebius one is ridiculous though, even after I moved that blossom tree out of the village. Only way to "save" the civilians is to sandbag the whole place and then put a rocket launcher near the point where the Nod chinook death squads land
  19. Yup. Buildings need a build-up animation or they are automatically unsellable...
  20. Ah. I did specific left, right and middle playthroughs to try to avoid that... though the split in the GDI missions could make one miss missions even like that
  21. Ahh. The more things change, the more they stay the same XD
  22. That temple thingy seems terribly small, especially considering the size of similar temples in Tiberian Sun.
  23. So, um... that's just the game manual, isn't it? fir3w0rx: It's included in the game as pdf, anyway.
