I don't think the game has any trouble with Win10. Just use the v1.06 installer to install it and you're set. -Full game installer -English videos pack (German, French and Japanese are available too)

Actually, most of the others showed amusing game bugs and interesting game mechanics, like the V2 rocket that can't land and the flipping over vehicles.

I'm fairly sure that's a skirmish game, and that's just messing with rules.ini. It's harmless (albeit rather pointless) fun.

I looked into my old logs, and it seems I didn't actually include cncnet into my patch before v1.06c. Though it's always been linked on my site, and I know I linked to it with the releases of my earlier patches too, especially on the old EA forum.

Um. You answered your own question. The donations go towards server/domain costs (connections? wut?). Any excess is kept for future server costs. That's it. Many of the donators to cncnet are players and devs themselves, yes. Paying to keep the online service they love running. I honestly don't see your point in all this. Lots of community websites are ran this way. In fact, over the years I've gotten quite some donations on my C&C95 v1.06 project page, and technically that has never cost me a cent. And in case you're wondering, all of that mostly went to expanding my C&C collection, which in turn led to nifty stuff like multi-language video packs and the inclusion of the official Japanese voices in the game.
