What exactly do you want to translate? The CnCNet launcher or the game it self? What installation of Tiberian Sun you have? Single-player or the online version? If you like to translate the CnCNet, get the files from here: http://downloads.cncnet.org/Language.zip Translating the game might be tricky cause you need a cyrillic font, but I would google around a bit, there might be a translation already somewhere on the net

No idea what this error is about, never heard about it. But you are probably not able to play online until this is fixed Maybe you'll find something about it on google, could be some security programs or settings blocking access to the files https://www.google.com/search?btnG=1&pws=0&q=wine+%22no+access+to+memory+location%22

Is it windows XP? If that's the case, redownload the installer and try it again. If not, please tell us what windows it is and a screenshot would help a lot too

Oh, I thought the game connects and goes out of sync within a few seconds. That's what happened to me during my tests, I tried to fix that up Red Alert with default settings doesn't work well with high pings, it can't handle pings over 250 too well, with 300 it was almost unplayble. We tweaked the sendrate settings and iran found a way to change the netcode to a older version that works fine with pings up to 600 and more here are some test videos I recorded with all the settings: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXk2ncRN1Z5LmIsb6F0F7FNExR7SOPvlO Protocol 2 and FrameSendRate 3 are the original settings, currently we use Protocol 0 and FrameSendRate 6 as default on cncnet Not sure if cnc95 also has different netcode settings, I only know about the FrameSendRate

We might add support for it at some point, but it could take some time. It's always very hard to find testers and that's very demotivating, so don't expect it to happen anytime soon! You can still get it working though, try out PlayOnMac or Crossover

I'm not too sure yet either since they are still reporting problems. I could fix it on my end but I didn't play games over the net, I had no delay at all... I just checked it again and it looks like the host is sending the GO packet too quick, sometimes 2-3 players were not connected at that point. The host only checks if he is connected to all players, but he doesn't check if all the others connected to each other too I will do another update now, this one is mainly for testing. It should raise the chance to connect, let me know if things got better with this version

hi! What resolution did you choose? Try 1280x720, that should be more than enough for this old game and hopefully runs smoother. We are still tweaking the settings for tiberian sun, there was an update just recently that improved the performance but we didn't get any feedback yet. You can change the settings via the wineskin winery, a free tool you can download here: http://wineskin.urgesoftware.com/tiki-index.php Here is some more info about the settings you could try: https://www.controlcommandescape.com/how-to/make-wineskin-games-run-more-reliably/ Another option is playing around with all the settings in the config program, there are all kinds of rendering settings you can try + graphics patch etc. Single player is not yet included, it might be added later but we need to get the multi player part working properly first. We don't really have anyone to maintain the mac download and that's why we still don't have it working properly sadly Can you copy/paste the exact error message? This is probably not an error message added by us, so I can only help if I know 100% the exact wording of it. A screenshot would help too EDIT: I found a problem that occurs when you change the resolution! Please open the config program and enable DDWrapper, this will fix the problem and you game might run fast again even with the highest possible resolution. Will update the download ASAP

If you find a way to reproduce it then I could take a look into it. I don't think it has anything to do with long runtime, something triggers it, but it's something people are not doing often

Still a huge amount of rocks in there The limit for rocks/trees is set to 500 in rules.ini (spawn.xdp), might be possible to raise it slightly What game installation do you have btw? Edwin would be perfect for these kind of maps, there is nothing in this or the previous map that edwin cannot place Latest edwin can be found here incase you don't have the high res version: https://forums.cncnet.org/index.php?topic=3476.0

issue launching LAN lobby: cncnet.lan.ircd.server.exe
FunkyFr3sh replied to googlecom's question in Support
The problem is most likely the missing .NET framework 3.5, it is not pre-installed on windows XP and you would need to get it from the microsoft website. But you can also start off the lobby in LAN mode from your laptop and just use that one as server, your windows XP machine should find the server and connect to it. (Only 1 pc needs to run the server) If for any reason your Windows XP machine does not find the server on your laptop then try the following: 1) Make sure your are both connected to the same router 2) Allow cncnet in your firewall/anti-virus 3) Run cncnet as admin Please let me know how you could solve the problem, the LAN server was added recently and I would like to improve to ensure it works for everyone out of the box! BTW, what windows do you run on your laptop? -
There are a few others from south america having the same problem (Brazil / Peru), we don't know yet what the problem is about, the only solution is using a VPN right now. You can also download the files from the last update manually from here: https://f5158ae95c0b14bbdeb4b5e5d93f94e4ebc9b66d.googledrive.com/host/0B5by5H1Q2PxEVDYtM0tPTWMtRlU/files.zip This problem also affects the map upload/download, so you might not be able to play some custom maps
-
Very nice! But you forgot the download link for the maps, zip them up and add them to the first post
-
There is not really a guide for the best way to play, just do whatever is fun There are also a lot Cooperation maps you guys can try
-
The bug is old, I had it a couple times too. It happens with all theaters, not only desert You can do what allen said, use the "T" button incase your map didn't save (check if the file is there and make sure the size is not 0 bytes)

Change house parameter 50,51 + triggers don't work
FunkyFr3sh replied to Holland's question in Support
Singleplayer objects caused the game to crash often and became the most popular crashes in the game, so you cannot place them anymore. Same for triggers. (GDI and Nod) check this here for all details: http://www.ppmforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=41631&sid=d2efe0d2aef48b0899a01af4a3cbe104 -
CnCNet Client The map browser (left click the map preview) supports now mousewheel scrolling and category selection via mouse button 4/5 Tiberian Sun A bug was fixed that could give players an unfair advantage 2 New hotkeys were added, ChatToAllies (default: Backspace) and global chat is now available via Return (same as F8) Red Alert The limits have been raised, Infantry:500->550, Buildings: 600->650, Aircrafts: 100->150, Units: 500->650, Vessels: 100->150 A bug was fixed that caused the game to glitch (Crash/OOS/Disconnect) when the unit limit was reached, sidebar icons will not gray out anymore when the limit was reached and you don't need to right click to be able to build again 2 New hotkeys were added, ChatToAllies via Backspace and global chat is now available via Return (same as F8)

It was already explained 100 times, but I explain it again: CnCNet has an automatic updater that keeps the online parts up to date, but at the same time it must keep the original installation untouched to ensure the singleplayer is still working as it should. Thats why the cncnet executable is using sa* mix files and not sc*mix files. The original game will just ignore this file and there won't be any problems with the sidebar. The extended sidebar was never finished and was not supposed to be used yet. But since there was a beta version of it released for testing and some of the players saw it and asked us to add it to cncnet anyways we just ended up adding it. They didn't mind the small visual flaws... Anyone is free to finish it up, if you guys think we should remove it again from cncnet cause the visual flaws are a problem then we are just going to remove it, I don't mind. How about I just remove it tomorrow and forward anyone who complains to Nyerguds? BTW, tomsons just found out that commenting out one of irans patches fixed the powerbar glitches. We have to test around a bit, maybe it really works perfectly now

What browser do you have? (latest version?)
-
Sorry, I missed your post. I just checked it, this crash is not fixed in any of our installers/patches. I also didn't had any logs of it yet, but I guess that's because we have the fog of war disabled on multiplayer games. In other words, installing our singleplayer version will not solve this error yet. We have to take a look into it and get it fixed
-
I don't think there is any way to help you with the information you provided. Is there any error message? What exactly happens?
-
Since we are attacking everyone here apparently. Oh you are the one to talk. Mister I haven't patched a thing in years. You are as much responsible if not even more for the state TD may or may not be in as any one of us, if not even more cause you have abandoned it. Are you idiotic enough to attack the sole person left in the world to know as many bits and pieces of TD, who didn't abandon it for teh lulz, but for real life obligations? Just because FunkyFr3sh and Iran are desperate and impatient doesn't mean they can push sloppy code out the door. I have been watching you now for months spamming your hate speech all over the forums, I didn't say anything about it yet. But enough is enough, you are not welcome here anymore. The community is spending a lot time keeping the games alive and doing the best they can and you keep insulting everyone non stop, this is unacceptable.

ban was just removed
-
I guess this is caused by your security programs. There used to be one doing such weird things, I think it was webroot
-
If you could upload the error log (except.txt) then I could check if it was fixed or if you encouter a different crash. Might even be able to fix it up
