@Grant fix link please, http://https//opencollective.com/cncnet Some typo on site... Is CnCNet Legal? Yes. CnCNet is legal to use. We patch and re-package officially freeware games released by EA so they continue to work. For games that are not freeware, we purposely only include our CnCNet installer as a download which looks for looks for a copy of your game to patch.

@NimoStar Those are some nice ideas, many of which I agree on. I've already created a patch separate from the one in the current client, that is more thorough and complete. The reason why it's separate is due to the leadership on the client updates changed and they have a different preference to balance changes. Feel free to reach out to me on Discord if you want to try out the newer version, just add "ravage_the_savage".

It's a good idea. However, for more active games I'd prefer if players decayed out of the top 10, as it seems unreasonable for players to just play enough games and just wait for the month to end.

@MoamenMagdy are you sure this is not for Red Alert 2?

Why not use the LAN network option? -
I got the tunnels working, made tunnels on urban, placed them according to the above tutorial by original poster and then used the "MapTool" to "Fix tunnels".

@GrantAdd categories for the ladder prize pools of each game? RA1, TS, RA2, YR?

The client speed options correspond to the in game speed options. The game was designed to be played at lower speed and lower resolutions. Since players started using high resolutions, playing as Allied became more difficult because they could easily see any splits on the screen and prepare counters, while before they had to pan the map constantly to find em. Lastly stop arguing with a theory guru who loses to most average players.

Right now we have a handful of active community streamers that should be advertised there to be fair as they do a good job and put in a lot of work.
-
Why not just have vetted streamers with guidelines on what to avoid?
-
These guides should be added to CnCNet @Grant

I recommend using Final Alert 2 SP (Extended) for mapping. To install download Final Alert 2 from here : How to make RA2 & YR maps - Final Alert 2 Tutorial Then download the SP addon from Release [RELEASE] Build20210211 (1.4.0.1) · secsome/FA2sp (github.com) and extract the FA2SP.dll into the installation directory of FA2.

Should store auto ally pre-sets in mpmaps.ini Perhaps something like... [mapsection] AutoAllyLvR=1A,2B,3A,4B AutoAllyTvB=1A,2A,3B,4B Where you get the info as a string and disassemble it for the logic.

This will break some of the original game functionality and cause bugs.

Save As > filename.map when saving.

[Discussion] Are the Soviets underpowered against Yuri?
RaVaGe replied to Sharbel's topic in Red Alert 2
This is exactly the problem and what happens in QM and unranked matches between top players. -
This was fixed in my previous patch.

Find any Unit's or Structure's tag and add the strength amount to it. The text after a semi-colon is a comment, you can add notes to your INI like that. Just use the rulesmd.ini for reference. rulesmd.ini You can try to edit colours by adding these to your map. Structures have a different name in the map editor and map file. Search for Kremlin in the rulesmd.ini file to find the game-engine name for the structure. As you can see here it's called CARUS03.
