Jesus fucking christ "SiRaCo"? Copy nicks much?

Ugh, not very keen of it. Could have been really nice if they had made it in C++ and way more successful also. It's a shame they went down the .NET route. But hey, anyone can "write" code in .NET in Visual Studio! So at least they got it to work, props...

Well, in that case I have to say that I'm surprised, to say the least that there's still no ladder. Bring it! :heady:

Using service depot to repair Harriers/Black Eagles
SiRaLeX replied to Ra2Nub's topic in Red Alert 2
Korea and America are OP already anyway. The thing is, there's just no balancing, whatsoever, regarding repairing Black Eagles. So yeah, it makes Korea much more unfairly powerful. Basically, it's next to impossible to lose a Black Eagle at full strength. -
Well, CnCNet said that no-one gets paid for anything. So I don't believe that cash donations would speed up the process in any way, shape or form. Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone. Besides that, they just don't have the expertise to hack YR in such a way as to generate stats for the ladder. That's not saying that I don't have it.

Using service depot to repair Harriers/Black Eagles
SiRaLeX replied to Ra2Nub's topic in Red Alert 2
Exactly. Here's another wise mans posts: Just like I posted in the first post in this topic. Don't do it and we can all be friends! -
Yes it is. Was it hard to find it? It's super hard to find an Import Table, isn't it? Pretty much any tool under the sun tells you the imports with just 1 click. The Import Table isn't a secret, anyone can read it. Seems to be quite an achievement for you though. Also in this screenshot you cut off "WriteProcessMemory" it says 0111402C. In your last screenshot 011222730 was "Write_Memory_??". Seems like you're having a tough time. Do you need some help?
-
Dude, your screenshot is random garbage. According to you this one function "Write_Memory_??" does: F3 Show And Hide Radar F2 Reveal And Reshroud Hotkey Use Aegis Style Reshroud Reshroud Fog Reshroud Fog With Shroud Edge Show Psychic Lines On Reveal Repair Any Building Build Anywhere That's not how it works. And "Write_Memory_??" isn't WriteProcessMemory because WriteProcessMemory isn't in .data, nice try though.
-
You're an idiot. My hack calls WriteProcessMemory(), it's even fucking stated in its ReadMe file. Nice try, bro. Unfortunately you appear to be missing more than half of what's going on. Blahblahblah. It's ASLR not ALSR. And my hack uses ASLR itself, hence you showing some randomized address which doesn't make any sense anymore once my hack is restarted. Because the address you showed is clearly inside of my hack. So does my hack write to this "pointer to this heap is a global" bullshit or what? Actually I've never heard such a retarded statement, ever.
-
Wrong. The only "address" he showed is 0x1122730, which is a randomized address. There's this neat thing called ASLR (address space layout randomization) which you don't seem to understand. If 0x1122730 was inside the executable then the hack would need to be more than 1 MB in size, which it is not, because 1 MB is 0x100000 or 1048576 for you "decimal plebs". So what the fuck is this "Write_Memory"? There is no single function called or that can be called "Write_Memory" in the hack. What kind of "debugger check" are you talking about? I'm not buying into you removing any "debugger check".
-
I've no idea what you're trying to show me there, but it doesn't make too much sense. What is "Write_Memory_??" aka .data:011222730, obviously the address is going to be different every time you start. It absolutely doesn't prove that you "know how psylines or build anywhere" work.
-
I doubt that you did.............nice reply tho. Nice screenshot. That's the screenshot I have taken 5 years ago. It's your screenshot. But, tell me how do psylines and build anywhere work.

Using service depot to repair Harriers/Black Eagles
SiRaLeX replied to Ra2Nub's topic in Red Alert 2
Your logic is flawed. Very flawed. Planes cannot dock with Service Depots like Vehicles can. You can check this for yourself as you will not see the arrows you see as with Vehicles that can dock on Service Depots. The mere fact that you have to use a trick like say spying your own buildings to get the Plane to land on the Service Depot should be a huge clue for you that it was not intended by the developers. The fact that the Service Depot then starts repairing the landed Plane is a bug as well as planes even landing anywhere other than on its Air Force Command. For the very reason that Planes were not intended to be repaired they self-heal over time. Besides, here's what an original RA2 developer has to say about it: Yes, there's numerous bugs with Service Depots THAT INDEED CAN AND DO BREAK games. This is just one of the less-severe bugs. Anyways, I'm done here. -
Rampastring, that looks bloody amazing! Futuristic shit like C&C3!

I can only speak for XWIS where it is seen as glitch/bug abuse. I recommend you not to do it. Planes will self-heal over time. Who did you see doing it? Expose the cheaters! -
Because unlike you, I understand what he posted.
-
So ra95-spawn.exe is written in C++, is it from Westwood?! O_o
-
I agree with what Ra2Nub says. This sounds like it's you who made it. Besides, how do you know how psylines and build everywhere hacks work? Did you create them? If you know how it "works internally" as you put it, then you also know how to fix it. The fact you chose not to fix it is just plain wrong. You say "only need to add 4-6 more lines of anti-cheat", then do it - what is stopping you??? Eh? Seems highly suspicious to say the very least. Keep CnCNet cheat-free, for fucks sake, please. / Sorry for the little rant. I just hate it when people build dreadnoughts without battle lab and stuff like that.
-
Should of, could of, would of... IMHO the window is too wide. Some people use 1024 x 768. Also I would've written the client in C++. At least it looks good, Rampa!
-
Yes, he's playing on Wine and it's "ra95-spawn.exe".

SiRaLeX replied to Philpy95's topic in Red Alert 2
Exactly. The lightning strikes aren't exactly random. They strike tall and expensive buildings and take out Battle Labs, Radar Towers, War Factories and Power Plants as well as metal vehicles, frying Infantry standing near by in large groups. Very rarely lightning bolts hit the ground, when there's nothing more to level. When a Nuclear Missile is announced through the siren, players have plenty of time to move their tanks and sell expensive buildings. Not so much with the Weather Storm. When the Weather Storm hits you're basically powerless, pretty much as in real life. -
Can you mod the cncnet version of the game with rules.ini?

Can you guys explain what OpenGL and GDI is to a total noob and where DirectDraw fits in all this? Thanks. -
Welcome, Taxidermic Owlbear! P. S.: You are smart as an owl and strong as a bear! P. P. S.: Your name reminds me of Tamoxifen.

And I told you the way it is. Allied > Yuri > Soviet Try it, son. And no, I promise, I won't call you "lame". I'll just note that "alting" is considered cheating on XWIS. Oh dear, Anthony... I hate being a dick, but I'm not the one with more or as many of these so called "big L"'s on my record as my big W's. You: http://xwis.net/ra2/pl/a1nthony/ Me: http://xwis.net/ra2/pl/siralex/ Quite a bit of a difference right there and I didn't play a single game in the past 3 or 4 months except for the last week. I'm not assuming anything. My hope for you actually being capable of having a debate is long gone. That's why I used quotes around that phrase.
