[Linux Mint 19.3] Red Alert 1 "using slow software rendering, please update your graphics card driver"

Full Game was installed (Ubuntu, Linux Mint, ...) cncnet_1.0_all.deb

How to solve this problem?

Is your linux mint up to date? I assume they will probably fix it soon, so you'll have to wait.

 

But you should be able to play just fine even with software renderer, the performance is pretty good if your hardware isn't too old.

No, I didn’t tell them. What should I do?

Nothing! Just play the game, it should be working fine

If you want to report the problem to any of the devs of linux mint then tell them that opengl isn't working with wine (It fails to create a opengl context, can't even query the opengl version)

If I change the linux distribution the problem will disappear?

Yeah, very highly likely. This is not the first time this issue occurred with linux mint, but i never heard about something like this happening with any other distro yet
