hennyc Posted April 25, 2020 Share Posted April 25, 2020 Hi, I hope im in the right forum topic. My client (Red Alert) that I downloaded is doing the 2 CD web installs for the original game.. However round about half way its breaks and shows this message: Operation timed out. etc etc. My internet is 100%, and when I try it a second and third time (using different mirrors) it gives the same issue Can anyone kindly assist ? FunkyFr3sh Posted April 25, 2020 Share Posted April 25, 2020 You could try to download the files in your browser instead: http://funkyfr3sh.cnc-comm.com/files/RedAlert1_AlliedDisc.rar http://funkyfr3sh.cnc-comm.com/files/RedAlert1_SovietDisc.rar Once you have the files downloaded start RA1installer again, but this time choose CD-Installation and browse to the folder where you downloaded the two red alert disks.
