Trying to play RA2 on CNCNet - Defener blocking HackTool:Win32/DllInject!MTB

I've been playing RA2 on CNCNet for years without issue (Win11), but now Windows Defender is blocking a file:

HackTool:Win32/DllInject!MTB

file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Red Alert II\Syringe.exe

I tried uninstalling/re-installing CNCNet, but no change.  Is this a false positive?  Any idea why it would just start now?

It's a false positive due to Microsoft changing the way they detect syringe.
