About the Cheaters in mutiplayer games

It is a really shame but I have to report that in China there are many guys cheating in mutiplayer games in Mental Omega on CnCNet. This makes many players fear to join a pubilc game lobby.The situation is not good at all.Are there any ways to prevent cheating?

I have tried one cheat tool. It has many cheat functions but most of them can not function in mutiplayer games.I think it must be the result of the hard working of the WestWood studio and you CnCNet groups to eradicate cheating.

However,there are still a few functions that still works.The cheat tool, which seems to cheat through editing the data in computer's memory,can still do such things:

1.Change the sight of the unit you select,then make most of the shroud removed.
  How much shroud one player has removed seems won't sync with other players so it won't cause sync error?

2.Break the limits of building structures. That's to say, cheaters can build everywhere.
  Maybe the judgement on building structures is local and won't cause sync error?

3.Break the limits of tech level or other things to produce a unit.
  I have no idea how it managed to do this,but the cheater can build every units registered in ini files,ignoring building limits.


Meanwhile,players with modified ini files seem still able to start games with others and the warning "the player modified his game" seems appear for everyone,including innocent ones.We players have no idea when join in a public game lobby.

Cheat problems are serious nowadays in Mental Omega.Are there any ways to prevent these kinds of cheating? We players need your technical help.

      Hello everyone, I was very happy that I had found a command, to enable Trigger triggers, [IsCoopMode = Yes], and when I go out to edit the map, and Skirmish game, boom, goodbye game. Suddenly everything was crashed and this error came out, what could it be?
       

       
      I miss the game when there are 2 AI created manually, no matter what I do crashes, some solution to this or this has no solution ?.

      Any decent guides on modding RA1?  Also i'm after a decent Map Maker.  I used to use final alert back in the day and you could generate a map from a .bmp image.  Are there any map editors for RA1 that do the same?  I have seen the sticky thread on links but the Red alert 1 link is dead.

      This is a solution to become a CnCNet host server in linux servers that have systemd for service control (Debian, Ubuntu,...):
      Do it as a root or add 'sudo' before every command:
       
      apt-get install libmono-system-core4.0-cil mono-runtime useradd -m cncnet wget -O /home/cncnet/cncnet-server.exe http://downloads.cncnet.org/cncnet-server.exe chown cncnet:cncnet /home/cncnet/cncnet-server.exe wget -O /etc/systemd/system/cncnet.service https://files.catbox.moe/z7y3nd.service # Change 'my new name server' to your own server name sed -i 's/My cool server/my new name server/g' /etc/systemd/system/cncnet.service systemctl daemon-reload systemctl enable cncnet.service systemctl start cncnet.service Make a service is better than crontab for auto start solution!

      Checking for updates screen appears and does nothing.
      Then I get a dialog box that says:
      "Update failed... Please check your connection, Anti-Virus and Firewall settings!
      The operation has timed out"
      I have turned off the virus and firewall and the same thing happens.
      Funkyfresh helped me a few weeks ago with the last update.
      If memory serves, he gave me a direct link but I can't remember exactly.
      I have already tried http://downloads.cncnet.org/updates/cncnet5/CnCNet5Version.txt and http://downloads.cncnet.org/updates/cncnet5/ and https://downloads.cncnet.org/updates/cncnet5/ with no love (403 Forbidden).
      Also while joining a game with a map that I don't have, it fails to download the new map so I can't play on any new maps either.

      Please help.
