  1. Install the CnCNet client, the installer will unlock the gamespeed options - https://cncnet.org/red-alert-2
  2. Could do what this original page did, manually maintain a list of YouTube streamers. Wouldn't be able to categorise them into what game they're playing though, not reliably. Maybe you could search their stream title or description for keywords to know what game they might be playing...but I'm not sure thats reliable enough, and they'd have to know to put it in there.
  3. I did look last year to add YouTube support To make it work we need to know the game title someone is livestreaming to determine whether to show it on the site or not. Thats info isn't available from the YouTube API. https://developers.google.com/youtube/v3/live/docs/liveBroadcasts#resource
  4. Possibly a faulty tunnel server, try selecting a different one when you create a game.
  5. Should probably close this as it doesn't actually work anymore. There is https://cnc.community/cnc-streamers which picks up everyone automatically.
  6. Err hotkeys maybe? Try checking those, otherwise might be a renderer messing things at a complete guess. Have you tried a different one in the CnCNet client from here?
  7. Have you double checked the game mode you've made your map for is in the client? I can't remember without looking if theres protected game modes or not. Try setting your game mode for your map under what other custom maps use in the client. Also you may (IIRC) need to restart the client to see maps appear in the client.

    Update 8.11.0

There was an update to fix windows 7 CnCNet users crashing recently, I would download the latest installer and try again. https://cncnet.org/red-alert-2
  9. If you haven't had much luck in getting this sorted, have you tried redownloading the latest installer, there were some updates recently that may have fixed one of your problems: https://cncnet.org/red-alert-2 If not, I would recommend coming into the Discord and asking for help there. https://cncnet.org/discord
  10. This bit isn't really overally clear from us so sorry about that. When you install the CnCNet client it will patch the singleplayer to become playable. You then need to launch singleplayer directly from Origin. To play online and skirmish games, you use the CnCNet client. You've probably overdone it with all the things you've described (compatiblity and so on). Steps: Reinstall Red Alert 2 & Yuri's Revenge via Origin. This is to revert all the previous troubleshooting you've applied. Install the CnCNet client again. Launch single player via Origin. If you experience problems like choppy gameplay, slowdowns, too fast, follow these steps. Close the game, and open the CnCNet client. Click "Options" Select "Display" and under the render options, select a new renderer. Commonly, "Automatic", "CNC-DRRAW" or "TS-DDRAW" works best. Click Save, and try launching the game again. If the gameplay is smooth and the cutscenes are playing then this renderer will likely be the best for you. If it hasn't worked, select a different renderer and repeat until you find one that works best with your system.
  11. Is this a new installation directly from origin? Have you installed the CnCNet client? It will provide a fix to single player so it becomes playable.
  12. Would be great to find a nice way of lauching them so its a bit easier to go between them. Maybe that's something the CnCNet client could help with (somehow) if you wanted them in there (up to you of course). Anyway regardless - huge kudos, love your other missions and look forward to playing these new ones ?.
  13. Do you have windowed mode checked? If so uncheck and try again Otherwise change the renderer one by one save, retry.
  14. In no particular order, there are these mods. There are others but I'm not aware of their status. https://cncnet.org/red-resurrection https://cncnet.org/mental-omega https://cncnet.org/rise-of-the-east You also have mod maps which you can find online (when you join games). They have modified gameplay options, inifinte money, survival modes etc.
  15. Maybe your laptop is going into a battery saver mode when the power cord is disconnected. Check your battery option settings and make sure its on a high permonance setting.
  16. Yea last time I checked CDKeys work. They should send you a key, you then redeem that within your Origin account - https://www.origin.com/gbr/en-us/redeem Then you'd have access to the C&C collection in the Origin launcher.
  17. Hi - you need Yuri's Revenge (expansion to Red Alert 2) installed too for CnCNet to work.
  18. Got discord? Could try the asking in support there. Or if you haven't, try raising an issue on GitHub https://github.com/CnCNet/cncnet-yr-client-package
  19. Try using the installer for the latest https://cncnet.org/yuris-revenge
  20. Believe it alternates between after each reset, this month is now Red Alert 2 QM, next month would be Yuri's revenge.
  21. Try a different renderer in the client options. If that doesn't work, have you tried with windowed mode off?
  22. Info to buy C&C: https://cncnet.org/buy
  23. I would take a guess and say yes, reduce the number of maps you have and try again.

Hello, My game is slow, has a black screen, or the gameplay is choppy. If you are experiencing slow or choppy gameplay whilst playing on CnCNet, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem. Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert, Tiberian Sun: Install the Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert, or Tiberian Sun client. Click Settings and select the game appropriate to change the settings for. A menu like this will then appear: Under "Renderer, select "Automatic" Click "OK" and launch a skirmish game against the AI to test. If it hasn't worked, repeat steps 4-5 by selecting a different renderer that works best for your system. Red Alert 2 & Yuri's Revenge: Install the CnCNet client This will look for your existing game directory. Once installed run CnCNetYRLauncher.exe or the shortcut supplied. Click "Options" Select "Display" and under the render options, select a new renderer. Commonly, "Automatic", "CNC-DRRAW" or "TS-DDRAW" works best. Click Save, and launch Skirmish. Play a game with the AI. If the gameplay is fast then this renderer will likely be the best for you. If it hasn't worked, repeat from step 5 until you find a renderer that works best with your system. Failing the above, ensure your video drivers are up-to-date. You are running a suitable resolution the game can handle.
  25. In the client options under display, theres an option to select windowed mode. Have you tried that?
