Just to be clear, on CnCNet only, the tank "alting" the warfactory like in that screenshot will move out of the way... IF a unit is ready to come out from the warfactory. Like mentioned by @FReQuEnZy

@[AuF]Mindwar this happens with the very latest update?

If you would all help, I was thinking we could create a tribute page. It could then include any funny posts, quotes, screenshots, memorable videos or matches, pictures anything to remember him by. Additionally any messages you would like to leave on there too we can add in. Let me know what you think.

I woke up to the news this morning and it really did strike a chord with me, a real lump in the throat whilst travelling to work. Jason was a really genuine and nice guy (and not just because he went easy on me in our games against each other), but because he had everyone's best interest at heart, both as a friend and as a player. The very fact that he contributed to both the XWIS and CnCNet communities at the same time, despite the conflict of interest between the two sites, showed how much he truly cared about you all and the game that he loved to play and keep alive and going strong. We've all grown up one way or another together throughout the years, playing countless matches along with throwing complete expletives at one another, and when I look back, that I joined XWIS in 2006, and we're now in 2018, time has really flown by. Playing and working with Jason or anyone throughout that time for so long, they are apart of you today, and I think that's what makes today especially as hard, as we are losing one of our own that we've known for so long. He is still with us, he lives with us in our memory, our heated games (mainly defeats for me) and the contributions he has left us behind to continue building upon. Not many will know, but behind the scenes he gave us a good kick up the arse from time to time, keeping us inline with what was fair. I admired that about him, just being brutally honest and to the point, and always thinking of the players best interests. Being a very passionate individual who always thought about the game and the community, we've lost a massive community leader. A friend taken from us far too soon in this world. I think speak for the CnCNet and XWIS team and communities combined, that our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends, we are all thinking of you at this very hard time. Rest in peace Jason.

Hi - could you try using the latest installer? It might take a couple of hours for cache to clear before you can download it. http://downloads.cncnet.org/CnCNet5_YR_Installer.exe - It should be around 70mb, if it's not then you'll need to wait a little longer.

Hi, Update 4.0 and future updates will be more inline with the core client codebase that @rampastring maintains. Unlike previous versions, it will no longer be a fork of the client (which means it will be more regularly updated with new features and bug-fixes). Unfortunately the ladder page in the YR client was a very specific feature, and won't likely be added back to the client anytime soon. Other smaller features however, like displaying the online count in the lobby, will be added back soon. The reason for this is that the fork of the client was hard to keep up to date. It would often become behind the core client codebase, which is bad, especially when there are sometimes critical bugfixes like most recently, not being able to connect to our servers. I can only apologise to those that were using the feature and that have been disappointed by it's removal, but looking ahead, this is the best solution to a bigger problem that was occurring.

How many years I've been playing this game and I didn't know realise that an Ore purifier and Industrial plant brought you more money, I thought it was only reducing costs. I'm such a noob. Really nice videos though, unique. Will be sharing them on our channels soon. ?

4.01 Fixes not being able to select a faction. Credit: @Rampastring

I wouldn't count on saved games working as they should, it's not a feature we're actively supporting or have ever done. Sorry.
-
Thanks should be a fix released in the morning when less players are online. Thanks for the heads up and sorry for the inconvenience. Edit: You can pick your faction with a scroll wheel on your mouse if you really need to tonight.

The Allies and the Soviets have rearmed with new weapons of war, each poised to destroy the other. Two ideological opponents, eight world powers, only one world to command and conquer. You can now play online using CnCNet too! Just follow the links to the download page for YR Red Resurrection and check it out. https://cncnet.org/red-resurrection

Hello could you try updating to the latest and letting us know how you get on?
-
What version is your client on?
-
Could you retry logging in and if you're having a problem, again reupload your log file. Thanks

Hello, We need some additional information to help you out. In order for us to work out your issue, we will require your client.log file. Please attach it to your reply. Finding your client.log file: Navigate to your Red Alert 2 folder. This is where CnCNet is installed. Look for the folder called "Client" Inside this folder, there will be a file called client.log
