Many people have come and gone from the CnCNet project in the 6 years it has existed. Motivations have ranged from simply wanting to help, to advance programming/patching skills, being long time fans of C&C. Originally CnCNet was only for the original C&C. eventually RA1 got supported and in the process accidentally TS and RA2 was too. Many people have done a lot of things for the CnCNet project: Myg, Irony, hifi, FunkyFr3sh, Iran, Grant among other people. and other people indirectly like Nyerguds and CCHyper. As for me I have played C&C since I was little and it has stayed with me ever since.

When it comes to music the licensing is a bit different a lot of the time depending on the studio(s) that composed, preformed and recorded the music, but I guess since the C&C music was made in house I guess it'll be fine. Except for the fact that EA are actually selling the music on various places like Amazon and iTunes digitally, Sadly those aren't CD quality. :/

I was thinking of uploading the audio CD's themselves in FLAC format (C&C and CovOps or Saturn version), but I'm unsure how EA would like that.

Might be because he made the music for all C&C games made by Westwood?

I have both C&C and RA running on my phone. It is kinda fiddly to get running and your phone should probably have a stylus for playing them. Or if you want to play play the PS1 versions a keyboard.

With DOSBox you can already do that.

If something like this is to be done I'd just have downloads with DOSBox bundled or a HTML5 version once that gets feasible. Java on the web is not really user friendly.

That's strange. This is something that should work, unless something is missing in the YR implementation. Port forwarding is only necessary if you want to use Peer to Peer functionality. Have you tried other games on CnCNet? Like C&C1, RA or TS?

I didn't read that far. I thought the topic was about bringing elites to TS somehow...I guess I'll move this to the RA2 forum..

Have you tried launching game.exe directly? (From C:\Westwood\SUN or where ever you installed it)

Now that's strange, nothing happens? Have you checked in task manager if "game.exe" is still running?

what happens if you select "ts-ddraw" instead?

Did you try to do as I asked? You already had the right version installed.

What version of Windows do you use? (and give me the name of the laptop as well) One thing you could try is click on "options" in the launcher and set the "renderer" option to "default"
