Fireworks! As 2012 comes to a close we can look back to a interesting year full of events. Here at the Command & Conquer Communications Center we have seen the revitalized of a truly classic game: Command & Conquer Red Alert with 100+ players frequently on CnCNet, we have seen new interest in making both Red Alert and Command & Conquer maps and several CnCNet versions. But not all is well from 2012. We have seen the death of multiple Command & Conquer fansites the oldest of which is TiberiumWeb.com which has its roots back in TiberiumSun.com among others. We wish you all a happy 2013!

The 1.06 unofficial patch is a newer version than what comes with The First Decade and The Ultimate Collection. It fixes a number of bugs, cleans up the C&C95 TFD directory and adds a bunch of new features: See the complete list here: http://nyerguds.arsaneus-design.com/cnc95upd/cc95p106/patch106c_r3_en.html#toc_9 1.06 is also what people use when they play online due to the added stability and map features.

Just a quick update! The sub-forums "Game chat", "Command & Conquer Series" and "Dune Series" has been merged with the parent forum "The Barracks". This is because people were ignoring the existence of the sub-forums in that forum.

You could get the Mac version of C&C1. But I don't know of any place to get it and I'm unsure if a System 7.5 app runs on OS X.

You should take a look at the 1.06 patch for C&C95. Since you got TFD download the patch only. As for the scroll speed open ddraw.ini and change maxfps to 120 or something.

Yes, the streaming God also known as industry standards said so. The average computer screen now a days use an aspect ratio of 16:9, but if you want black bars on the average computer screen be my guest.

Though when you stream you should use a 16:9 resolution in both game and stream format no matter which format your monitor is in. You should also make sure you don't see window borders.

As pointed out by Aro in the last "news post" looking for votes for Twisted Insurrection "Moddb's Mod of the Year" contest has began and thus begins the worldwide shameless promotion of mods for different games. As I haven't posted any news for months I'd point you to a rather nice mod for Command & Conquer 3 called C&C Renovatio. C&C Renovatio is a mod that seeks to connect Red Alert with Tiberian Dawn and thus it has a style highly reminiscent of both. The work of the team behind C&C Renovatio is simply stunning. The units are highly detailed and the scale is simply awesome. I'll let the screenshots speak for themselves: In addition to the fancy visuals the mod also features a really cool soundtrack! And as always in a MOTY you are free to vote for multiple mods! Also happy 10000 posts C&C Comm Center! Only 7 more topics and we are up to 1337!

On my end the cutscene issues where resolved when I set singlecpu to false.

Try the C&C Graphics Patcher and see if that works.

There used to be a RA sub forum, but that was merged into the C&C forum. I've been thinking of reducing the amount of forums even further.

Played though the GDI campaign. Kinda awesome. Can't wait for more missions
