  1. That's also a bit far-fetched, in my opinion O_o
  2. Mola...
  3. But they have insane splash damage, and usually one-hit kill infantry. It's a long and complicated issue, which I already described in full on my own forum: http://forums.cncnz.com/topic/18800-selecting-gdi-mission-5-bug/
  4. That depends purely on the distance and the amount of infantry. A single rocket launcher vs a single approaching flamethrower results in one dead flamethrower, but if it manages to get close the launcher gets it.
  5. lol. Tone down the rampant guessing, Pichorra. The ion cannon video is just called "akira.vqa" because it's kinda inspired by the scene of the laser satellite in the Akira movie. The Nod recon bike is modeled after the red motorcycle in the movie, too.
  6. I just don't see the point to this thread.
  7. Well, flame weapons are an excellent way to make grenadiers explode
  8. Um. The C&C1 demo doesn't have any covert ops, and the covert ops doesn't have an end game screen since it's a bunch of loose missions. I've seen the order screen that comes after beating the C&C1 demo, and it was an order screen for C&C itself, not for RA. Though, I don't think I ever played the RA1 demo... which has a much higher chance of containing something like this. Oh, and if you mean the Red Alert trailer in the Covert Operations (which was simply added to the "intro & sneak peek" videos), then no... it was nothing like this. This pic is made up of still renders. The RA trailer was all FMVs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAaCOzoouBA Though, the submarine render is indeed from the FMV, and it is featured in that trailer.
  9. I'd kick you off for posting a wall of text like that
  10. No, grenadiers in RA explode in fire, but the TD ones just blow up. No fire involved.
  11. Can't you people just use imgur for these stupid "look here's proof I'm not cheatin" pictures instead of making threads here? These threads are getting annoying.
  12. Do realize people can really abuse that by burning them with flamethrowers.... this makes the trees indestructible obstacles
  13. What's this "CnC.net" everyone is talking about?
  14. Oh man, I really want to play this, now. ...think I still got some beta of it lying around, actually :3
  15. Just means you got talent
  16. There's a Flame Dancers campaign for C&C1, and a sequel on RA1. Dunno if that's what you mean with the "original" FD missions?
  17. Not sure where you get those opcodes... call, jump and push all opcode "FF" with some modifier? That's certainly not the ones I use O_o
  18. Ahh yes. There's a crate there. I forgot about that XD The rocket launcher there's a real problem to get past, though. Though maybe you can lure him close to your troops by flying the chinook over that part.
  19. lol, what do you do then? Sell it, build engineers from the money and capture the enemy base instead?
  20. Well, hopefully one day I'll get around to un-hardcoding stuff like that, somehow...
  21. Yes. I've seen the code in the exe that controls that kind of special exceptions
  22. I guess the other way is to capture the CY and the refinery, and build your own power plant and then barracks... the CY will give you SOME power. Not sure which will be fastest though.
  23. Only real option to capture the whole base in that one is grabbing the refinery and the barracks and then making more engineers...
  24. The "suicide all you troops to make the commando bomb the towers" tactic is indeed what I usually end up doing when either the gunboat or harvester threaten to come back and casually eradicate all my bazookas
