For me, it's a great game. I play Skirmish on Very Hard or Heroic, but the AI gets tired sometimes and pile up their everybody in the base. I don't play online, I ain't no challenge.

well, actually, by that time in 2013 I think, CnCNet had a boost in players having say like 500 players online everyday. Don't know the numbers now, but I think the C&C community is more active than 3 years ago. The only one ruining everything is EA, although I'm not an anti-EA guy. I still believe they will stop screwing and release a good game. Let's see what the "new" CEO can do about it. I can't believe EA is not able to make a simple RTS ...

Well, there is one detail. In Homeworld game, since it's in space, when you send the small units to repair (fighters and corvettes), you just simply press a key ("D" in case of HW), after selecting the unit(s). It will leave the battle, head back to the nearest hangar, repair and get back to the immediate defensive perimeter of the hangar. That simplifies a lot. Selecting just the wounded is difficult if it's more than 2, but possible.

Hi, I'm discussing how REPAIRS can have a more important role in strategy, concerning RTS games. And by doing so, making the units less disposable. This is the base for this argment: - I was watching a documentary about the soviet attack helicopter MI24 or 27(don't remember the code) and they were reporting the improvements in the aircraft obtained from the battle field, specifically the conflict in Afghanistan in the 80s. The most visible changes was the tuning (accuracy) of the main gun and the move of the rear rotor from one side to the other to "clear off" vibrations. All that came from feedbacks of the battle field, because many helicopters used to be recovered over night by engineers to be ready for combat by dawn. It's a 1h B&W documentary in YouTube. Some will find it useless while others might like it. But, Conditioning features can make a player rethinks strategy in-game. It's a way to put optimization in place of maximization of a given skill.If you wanna discuss, comment below.

This is cool. I've always (re)played this mission, making my base at the SouthEast corner and loosing the Mammoths. Now, I'm gonna try your take. I suggest we make a thread for every factory mission from GDI03 or 04 (or at least for those complex missions) up to the missions in Covert Operations.

Some tips: - In the opening, drag the closer units to base. You'll be able to preserve a tank and an APC; - With the Orcas you can clear out some units, like making the stealth tanks show up (IDK if you have notice them); - you can even send the MCV through the Tiberium side, it will take less damage if you support it with the Orcas. Requires some timing; - when squads starts to visit you, they make the same path which is running through a border before turning in the choke point, so you can fire at them before they arrive; - If you are able to build 2 AGTs is more than enough to wipe out all these squads. \edit Keep training, cu'z I already started the Nod's Twist of Fate version in snow theater, let's see what you can save. Hi Lightning, When I started the Huge Collection, it was awful. I literally didn't know enough about what I was doing, you might find Nyerguds and I talking somewhere in the forum, in another thread outside my main thread. In the beginning, it was a bit lone task, but soon, some map packs started to emerge and the guys here monitored to see if I was getting things right. RA should be more accessible in this sense (I guess). The mistake I did that you should avoid is the so many medias I've adopted. The players in general just want a zip file with the missions fully functional. Half of the time I spent with the forum formats, so you should avoid that. Make a general zip and put the link on your signature and adopt a thread to tell when there is a new version online and that's it - spend more time refining or fixing the broken missions. After you have enough missions, like 200, make a small guide with the top 20 fan made missions. That will make ppl play more your collection, because they will know where to start. I haven't done that for my collection yet. Also, after some hundred fixes, feel free to edit medium level missions that seems easy. See them as 90% finished, so it's a mapmaking opportunity. Sometimes, with 2 or 3 reinforcements, you can totally change the pace of the game. But keep the original with you. That's what I can say to make your life easier. But I don't know anything about RA. QA collaboration user: Taurus 1620 - I also want to draw attention to an error in the package with the designation SCG094EA -Tiberium Island M-05: Tiberiate War, the occupation of buildings engineers the game ended as a failure ; - SCG 95 Wounded Eagle - just after the beginning of the 14's during the second mission ended as a success and continues for 15 mission; - SCG099EA The GDI Airforce (except 4 missions - line operations NOW, after successfully destroy the enemy base and the remains of troops remained on the radar continues red-moving targets on the map ... invisible to almost 10 attempt :-) I ended the game I'm not uncovered the lower right portion of the map where the error occurred; - SCG105 Death Mate, SCG133 Maximum Operation Overkill - after the mission errors recap, playing time, the number of destroyed, lost or units of buildings and scoring - SCG119 War Zone - after the destruction or capture the enemy base and the enemy remains behind the maps after sending intervals infinite number of reinforcements from my perspective unplayable mission - SCG129 Jungle Fever - right at the beginning of the game (about 5 minutes playing) at the same time there is an error message: The instruction at 004288a6 referenced memory at 00003104. The Memory Could not be read from; - few days later: Regarding the previously mentioned mission SCG129 Jungle Fever, complete the mission without any application errors when you do not expect and passively at the outset seize the north bridgehead, during the game the more errors there; - SCG148 The March To Prague several times I literally froze pc. At the end of the mission when the attack on Airstrip NOD responds massive counterattack air, at the same time hangs not only the game, but overall pc stops communicating. This is quite a serious error; - SCG160 Yucatan - Terror in the Peninsula, quite interesting and recreational mission, after about 15 minutes, takes place at exactly the same time an error message - The instruction at 00498f6b referenced memory at 0000b0f1 or 0000be23...mission can not be completed; - SCG 165 XR 47, when the position of the radar game freezes. The game can be completed, but without the use of radar; - SCG169, after 2 hours of heavy battles and gaining ascendancy game put another enemy in the form of application errors :-) - SCG171 can be completed, if not waiting passively in a defensive position ... a greater number of enemy units game can not properly function and leads to application errors. - SCG173 is probably badly treated missions from the author ... can not be completed - SCG 206 - Devil or the Deep Blue is not for the average player to finish, includes many application errors ... personally I completed the mission to erase the configuration settings - Air2 = Time, REINFORCE., 150, Multi6, a10s 1 plus two more items I have not put down in fury. Practically about every other game has problems, but some exceptions can be holy patience to complete the mission; - SCG207 Rescue Operation - your task is to rescue Dr. Moebius, the problem is that Dr. Moebius map does not exist, the mission can not be completed. I created this post to keep adding Taurus findings over time. Taurus doesn't speak english, so some things have to interpreted. For example, in SCG207, he is saying that there is no DR Moebius in the map. If anyone else have something, I'll add it here. -

Would it be possible to make totally anti-MP maps for MP games? Something like 1 player has a base and the other players have squads and they have to invade the base by many directions. No one can build units, just have to use the resources you have in-game. It would be like a single player, except the AIs are humans. Or maybe 2 x 4 matches (currently 2x3).

For covert operations, I had great fun for a long time with Infiltrated and Twist of Fate. They are not hard anymore, but I still play them. I'm a great fan of desert maps. More recently, I became fan of snow maps, although not a stock scenario.

About your Biolab mission - Don't forget to update in your own thread. \edit - updated in the collection. About LKO's Biolab mission - You and RC are right - if there is no spoiler adverting the mission is broken, it can be frustrating thus making the player claims it is very broken, no matter how simple it is to solve it.
