  2. The map renderer that Ezer_2000 linked to above (version 2.3.0.0, released 2016) is actually newer than the map renderer that comes with CnCNet (version 2.0.8562.0, released 2015).
  3. Sorry but I have no idea. It's weird that the rendering program only allows one file at a time. Nice tool (the only map renderer for RA2/YR as far as I know) but having this restriction is kinda annoying. I guess you'll have to render your maps one at a time (which you've probably already done by now ).
  4. There's really nothing else you can do to see the difference, none that I can think of anyway. My best guess is that Westwood/EA staff were probably going to do something different with each one but forgot all about it, or were told to move onto their next project. I didn't think you would actually do it .
  5. I doubt it, but who knows. Why not try it? Leave your game running for a while (on max speed) then check it from time to time to see if any of the mines have been permanently depleted .

  7. Yeah I didn't really give my original list enough thought. I just wanted another big map, besides Heck, that a lot of people liked to play. @dkeeton Any update on this scenario/map-list thing? Is this still happening?

  9. I was solo playing your newest version of your 'Get To The Chopper' (III) and it still seems very buggy. Speaking of which, I was abusing these bugs yet I still could only barely get through their front door I might just try a run 'n' gun approach when my time is running out, but I have to figure out the least dangerous path first.   12. Really? Which settings do you use; how many starting units? Credits? Country? Spawn location?...
  13. These maps need instructions for dumb-asses like me. Like the mini-campaign 'Get To The Chopper III' for example; it took me a while to figure out that spawn location 5 is for the bad guy/boss, not me , and that it needs a minimum of 4 players to challenge him, otherwise the game will crash. Kinda sucks because I want to beat him by myself .
  14. I did exactly that (as well as add the 'Reveal all map' trigger and sped the game up), but I could not tell the difference between the three. I also completely mined all three drills then observed them again, but I still could not see any difference between their mining rate.
  15. Well... choosing our own maps/scenarios is like having a veto system anyway. So I guess as long as nobody chooses LBL or DC Uprising it should be fine
  16. If you click the CNCNET logo at the top left of this forum, then look over to the top right hand side, it will tell you exactly how many players are playing and which game.
  17. @dkeeton Sooo... do you want us to list all possible combinations of maps, superweapons and factions into scenario format? And how many scenarios can your database handle, is there a limit? I've changed my scenarios list btw; instead of Sedona it's now The Path More Travelled By. I think if BOTH players vetoed a map/scenario then it should be ok to exclude it.

  19. There is a guy over at the xwis.net server, rumblesom, who fixed a similar bug on the official maps Snow Valley and Cold War. If you don't get any replies here, you should ask there.
  20. Hurry up and post your map/scenario lists then guys, otherwise we're all gonna be playing on only my maps!
  21. Well in that case, just duplicate all of my scenarios and reverse the Superweapons (or put a NOT next to them ) to emulate randomness. The rest of the settings should be the same. Do we have to 'randomize' the different positions as well (please say no), because that's a lot of different combinations. For example: Scenario 01: Heck Freezes over, Spawn Locations 2 and 3, SW=ON Scenario 02: Heck Freezes over, Spawn Locations 2 and 3, SW=OFF Scenario 03: Heck Freezes over, Spawn Locations 1 and 3, SW=ON Scenario 04: Heck Freezes over, Spawn Locations 1 and 3, SW=OFF Scenario 05: Heck Freezes over, Spawn Locations 2 and 4, SW=ON Scenario 06: Heck Freezes over, Spawn Locations 2 and 4, SW=OFF and so on... And if we add the different combinations of countries as well... that will take forever!!! But I'll do some if that's the only way.
