Maybe tick "Autocreate". If your team doesn't exist already, tick "Prebuild" (this tag forces the house to build units first) and untick "Recruiter" (this forces to pick up existing units from the map)

I did an update, fixed some minor issues and added some Ares tags to the mission. It still works without Ares, but Ares adds some special features to the game and prevents some cheats, too. -
I guess they just forgot to change it. If I remember correctly, the latest RA community patch fixed this issue.

Here are two of my favourite TS single player missions, edited as multiplayer maps. Hammerfest: Starting points located in the west. on the smaller eastern islands, there are trucks which carry crates. Sheep's Clothing: There are three bridges over the river, guarded by mutant forces - the special rules from the mission apply for them. hammerfest.map sheeps.map

I finished the snow theater and added the two remaining ini files into the first post. Two example maps are Aro's Cold War for RA2 and Lake Blitzen for TS. I guess this will cause a flood of new maps for both games. -

Yeah, that depends on the settings in temperat.ini of the game, which are not converted. And vice versa, I've ported Anytown, America into Tiberian Sun. Overlay and Buildings are done by hand, everything else is automatically converted by MapTools. Only some templates needed to be fixed. Next thing will be TS snow -> RA2 snow and vice versa. anytown.map -

I don't know if someone has done this before, but I'm writing on ini profiles for MapTools to convert TS maps into RA2 maps. Now you may convert TS temperate maps into RA temperate maps and TS snow maps into RA2 snow maps, and vice versa. FS crystal stuff will be converted into normal cliffs or grassy terrain and YR ice cliffs also will be transformed into normal cliffs. TS ice tiles should be transformed into water, but this doesn't work. Some things like bridges, some path junctions and rough patches will need fixup: Final Sun/Alert will ask you if you want to repair a map -> press yes. most terrain objects which are not available in the other game (like Fona or street lights)will be transformed into trees. If you use the RA2 terrain expansion, TS monorails will be transformed into train tiles, otherwise to blank. Converting overlay to the other game is not done yet. The only thing is done is deleting the veinhole monster and his tentacles from game. RA2 can read TS overlay (blue tiberium is converted to ore for some reason), but TS cant read RA2 overlay, so you'll have to delete this in your map. Buildings and other man-made objects are not changed, but I think about a file, which converts the civilian city buildings aswell as Nod -> soviet and GDI -> allies. Below that image there are 4 files which you can use for the theater conversion and 4 example maps. Remember that is no I-convert-my-map-and-start-game-instantanous tool, only the basic things are done yet. I like this one. I would make the small areas at the map edges passable to have some more tactical options for artillery weapons.

Not always. TeamTypes in RA are quite messy sometimes. If nothing works and they still gather at topleft, make two separate houses for your enemy (goodguy one for pre-placed units which should stay at their place, greece for the attack teams) and create a trigger: - elapsed time: 50; action: all to hunt (greece); type: constant. and add to your map: [Hunt] Retaliate=yes

I like that mission! I had the same issues with teamtypes in RA1 and I couldn't fix all of these issues. Try "patrol to waypoint", check "charge toward target" and play around with "max" and "num", sometimes it will help.

After more than 6 month of work, this mission finally is completed! This mission on a momumental landscape map is divided into 4 acts. At the beginning, you do some commando actions behind enemy lines, and later on, you have to stand against Yuri's armies, before you have to launch the last attack against his fortress. The mission itself is finished, but string-tables (ingame mission briefing) are still not working yet. (How can I do this?) And there is no custom starting screen yet. Play it by starting the allied campaign. I added some Ares tags. Though this mission still works fine without Ares, it prevents some cheats/bugs and adds some additional features, mainly applying to your heroes. The map is 200x200 and playthrough time is roundabout 3 - 5 hours. Download link is below the pictures. Yuri is back. He build up a huge fortress, whom where he plans to dominate the world. American and russian forces launched a coordinated attack on Yuri to stop him, but the attempt failed and they both got overthrown by Yuri's mind control technology. Because a large scale frontal attack failed, we send a special ops team, including Tanya and Boris, to free both bases from Yuri's control. But again, we were overthrown. Our MCV was captured and the Airplane with our team members was shot down... Your team found together. soviet troops in a cloudy day. Set GuardRange=.1 for the spy. Any positive value should work. You can add codes ParabombsinMultiplayer just to your map/ini. I'm not sure which of the new ones actually are supported by the cncnet version, e.g. new units are not enabled for stability reasons.

The map file might be too large. Try again by deleting the preview pack... Maybe somebody who knows more about cncnet can fix it.

open the map with a text program and look if there are some entries like [GATECH] TechLevel=-1 or whatsoever. just remove them.

How can I implement string tables (Text triggers) to a custm RA2YR mission? I made a copy of ra2.csf, added my new names and then I removed any strings I don't need anymore. Here https://www.modenc.renegadeprojects.com/CSF is mentioned: They can be loaded from outside a MIX file much like .ini files, if they are named stringtablexx.csf (where xx is a number from 01 to 99). So I called my file into stringtable67.csf but the strings don't show up ingame.

it's called "landscape operations" (due a lack of a better name). maybe cncnet can't read the filename (with a - ), don't know.
