This sounds very familiar. However, my bug was also suddenly gone after a month. Still popping up from time to time, and indeed, around 15 minutes of play. Then the game crashes.

Let's Play Command & Conquer: Red Alert - The Aftermath
X3M replied to TaxOwlbear's topic in Red Alert
I think that new players don't know about Aftermath. Or don't know how to speed up aftermath after selecting it. Personally, I love Aftermath. I like the Tesla Tank, Tesla Troopers and Missile Sub. But that would be about it. The Allieds don't gain much, except for the Chrono tank. Which is rather weak in direct combat, compared to it's price of 2400. -

I don't know why, but this tendency to add suicide units. Maybe someone in the staff wanted to tell the others something. -

[X3M/CHEMSiSTRY]: Special Physical Properties of Water?
X3M replied to SiRaLeX's topic in General Discussion
It isn't my theory, it is one in general. And sometimes I answer with a question. I am well aware how EN works. Although, it doesn't always work as how people expect it to work. Therefor that people called that theory in light. That you mentioned the geometry, I did not know that you already got that far with your lessons. It is another property that helps making H-bonds, or not at all. https://classconnection.s3.amazonaws.com/573/flashcards/636573/jpg/vsepr1339276576267.jpg Fill in the right atoms, and possible empty spots. And you know how well HF and H2O works. I think, you will like this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_bond And here is that little theory explained more properly than I can. First answer, reason number 2: http://chemistry.stackexchange.com/questions/35349/why-does-hf-has-so-much-lower-boiling-point-compared-to-water PS. I expect other readers to respond with element 116 by now. -
[X3M/CHEMSiSTRY]: Special Physical Properties of Water?
X3M replied to SiRaLeX's topic in General Discussion
How it works with EN?? Well, it seems that it is rather unclear for most people. The internet doesn't really off a clear explanation either. Main rule is that a high EN can cause a higher polarity in a molecule. H2S has this less than H2O. Thus H2O has a good H-bonding and thus a much higher boiling point than H2S. The weirdest of them all, H2O a higher boiling point than HF. The part on water having the possibility to have 2 bonds and HF only 1, is correct. But another reason that helps is getting weird. And personally, I don't know if it is the correct way to think of it (its still a theory, not proven, not disproved). But it is still the best theory out there, so I post it any way. One of the explanations of H2O >>> HF in H-bonding might be: If we look at the EN of elements. Than it actually can be, too strong. The bond between H and F is so strong, that this H will less likely bond with another F in the HF fluid. It has to do with electron distribution. The electrons in HF remain more inside HF than interacting with other molecules. In H2O, the bond between H and O are less in strength. These electrons have more freedom. They can interact more freely with other O in the H2O fluid. -
[X3M/CHEMSiSTRY]: Special Physical Properties of Water?

The boiling point of water was supposed to be between -115 °C and -65 °C. Some scientists believe that 1 lonely water molecule actually has this boiling point instead, or gets closer to it. When you have 2 water molecules, they act as if they are together a bigger molecule. When having plenty of water molecules, it finally reaches the 100 °C that we know. Plenty of other molecules that share the same property. -
Any advice on how to do it better? Except for painting that stuff obviously one day theyll have a 3d painter Well actually there are already 3D printers that print already with the correct color on the correct surface. You have probably heard of all those "3D scan yourself and get a 20cm mini-me for only 200$" offers. If not, here is an example. Well and these companies use these machines. But obviously it's extremely expensive and absolutely not affordable for a person like you and me to own such a thing. I too had seen better. There was more detail too in those. And these where only the colour yellow. But man, those 3D mini-me's look awesome!!!. Maybe I should get one and give it to my buddy who gathers puppets of all kind of games and series.

There is no pre for that one. This one is new by the higher resolution. The original resolution was that of 640 x 400 as FunkyFr3sh stated.

[X3M/CHEMSiSTRY]: Special Physical Properties of Water?
X3M replied to SiRaLeX's topic in General Discussion
Well, as a chemist, I do have some more knowledge about water than the average person. And yes, most of the properties of water are due to the hydrogen bonds. All liquids are pulled downwards, so this is not an important factor. It's due to gravity. What also happens is that the water has "adhesion". It is pulled towards the glas (and the glas is pulled towards the water, but since it is solid, it remains). And thus crawls a bit upwards on the edges. If there is no gravity, the water would stick mostly to the glass and might crawl around it too. There is also cohesion, which causes water to form a ball of water in zero gravity. Other liquids can have more cohesion than adhesion. In that case, the liquid will form a "ball" surface instead of a "pit". Water has this with air. Thus a glas filled to a maximum might allow you to see it forming a "ball" surface. Actually, there is more water than space within the glass, in that case. Play around a bit with a glas and water, and you will see. Dirty glasses might show other results. Because the layer in between the water and the glas might have other properties than the glas itself. In the lab, I see this with some plastic tubes. If you have more question, let me know, ok? -
You did well and as expected. Funny thing is, the host didn't think of this before the one who joined. You are not to blame. I encounter the same thing frequently in other aspects of the game (TD and RA). And if they can't beat you with it, you are a "cheater". Simply accept that you are a "cheater" and carry on

Let's Play Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun - Firestorm

You should understand that the mods have their own lifes as well. 1 PM was all that you needed to do about this. And then simply wait. Even if it is weeks to no end. They have a lot of modding work here. I am certain of it. I did the same years ago. And it is unrewarding too. So, you should be happy that they took their time helping. Also, simply ignore the bougers. They feed on people like you. If you respond, it might as well look that you troll too. -

Weren't the settings along the lines of either 80%, 100% and 120% for the 3 difficulties? For health AND for their fire power? Does someone know? Also, in (the old) skirmish, they send 2, 4 and 6 units for the 3 difficulties. Of 1 type of course.
-
Either make them greyish or whitish. But this picture sure looks cool. Especially the damn dam, I mean damn!
-
Then you can be sure(rer) that it works.
-
Is this the one you installed? https://cncnet.org/dune-2000 If so. Try shutting down all your firewalls and virus scanners. Re-install the game, in case anything has been deleted by your firewalls/virus scanners. Now try to connect again.
-
For real? What about enemies that you want to give a boost since you want them to defeat another enemy? This in TD, right? And put it on youtube as well, if it works!!!
-
Good point. Obvious point. (face slap) It would lead to faction limits. But that needs to be balanced as well. Eventually a limit per unit could work best. Also taking in regards, that each faction has a different number of different units. In this case, if it can't be altered. The shared limits are good as they are.
-
It's kinda good the way it is currently, faster/better players will have more units. If the limit is per player then it turns into an advantage for the worse players. I don't think that the good players will notice this. They will simply be... better any way. Perhaps, it will grow into a new challenge for the good players? And give the bad players a little bit more leverage? But that is my oppinion.
-
Is this a real unit/infantry or just theoretical/hypothetical? The real thing in Tiberian Sun. You could build only one. http://cnc.wikia.com/wiki/Mutant_hijacker However, they are talking about the engineer. Which is a difference of 1350 in costs. I considerer this one rather useless. But with an engineer, it would be worth the try. Never knew that such a bug existed.
-
You know that what frustrates me with these limits is. That when one player has them all, no other player can build them. Having separate maximums per player, would be many times better. And perhaps a count down in the upper left or right corner that shows you how much you may build, when getting close to the personal limit.

could you please add total annihilation to your site?
