  1. It looks like you are making an awesome mod. 1 question though. Do I need to own Generals to play it? Or is it stand alone? I also enjoy these video's a lot. The gameplay looks so fluid in contrary with my memory of Generals.
  2. Somehow i feel that an agt is not worth it if you can have 1.25 medium for it. I only have a few around for anti air. Is there any other valid option to have them?

  4. To increase your fanbase. Accept the loss. And make it funny while at it. I can't find, the, video, where he lost. But I recommend Artega Omega for you (or any one else here) to watch. You might get some inspiration from it. Watch the TD series since they are complete. There is a decent dry amount of dry humour in it. You might like it (or hate it).   5. This, I did this on a regular basis in my starcraft days. Made me happy. Made my friends happy. Made my frenemies also happy. I wonder if I still have that "bots flame the player and beat him" map. Always fun to see someone like that struggling and returning in the channel. Can someone make a scripted 1v1 map where he gets flamed constantly by the AI? But seriously. I hope he finally gets a life.
  6. When movement is restricted and large quantities are used. The medium tank will surely win. I started playing the single player missions again. And thought of trying each mission with light tanks first. I noted that some situations prefer you to use medium tanks. Of shore support against submarines. Choke point defences. Landing on the beach. It is durability and range that support in these cases. Also the concentration of strength matter here. Having a mix of tanks did help in some early missions. But you better safe up and get medium tanks only in the later missions. I wonder what happens when the light tank faces a medium tank while both tanks move with Q. (I have started to use APC against V2 and infantry instead of the Light tanks.)
  7. You restarted this mission, didn't you? Your V2 clearly has more health suddenly. Doesn't matter. This is one of those missions that I dislike doing. Just like the chrono protect mission.
  8. I forgot about that mission. As I can recall. (lots of)Migs/(4?)Yaks and paratroopers/bombs where my tools entirely. With a wall of submarines just like how you did. And 2 x 8 heavy tank defence. No tesla's since I used my energy and space for the migs/yaks.
  9. I like that you explain the difference between the obelisk of light versus the tesla coil. This is also my favorite mission of the sovjets.

  11. Seeee EA, the community can do this, itself. No need for them to "remaster" TD. No need for that peptition either. I cheer for this mod!!
  12. Well, that isn't just 10%. That is a whole lot more speed. Perhaps there are 2 versions of the rifle infantry on that map.

  15. That oddity is C&C3. I don't know how much it would help the current topic though. In C&C3, the RPS is much sharper. Are we talking about the same infantry? I mean, those with rifle's sure are useless against any vehicle and structure. Especially those with splash damage ability. Perhaps you can PM me about the mission. And I can give you intel on it. While here we go back to topic.
  16. Remember that test we did? Where the bikes are good at first, but after reaching a certain amount of units. The medium tanks start winning by a landslide? Same goes for the infantry in C&C3 against any anti infantry weapon. The effect is called concentrated strength. Infantry have size 0 in C&C3 and will be having an advantage over units like a buggy. I assume that we are using only rocket troops against buggies. Of course splash weapons like flamers and mortar are the counter against these 0 sized units. The bigger the size of an unit, the clumsier it is in combat at large scale.
  17. They got that fixed later on. But having a personal max on any unit. I know it is possible with Tibed. Where is once put a max on every unit. But I don't know if it would be supported in multiplayer. Would be cool though.
  18. I decided not to challenge you in that. Because it would be a boring and obvious challenge. Are you saying you actually could and want to show? With a lot of effort, the first one, I once managed. But it requires a lot of distraction either way. The second one seems impossible with the one and only bridge being destroyed so quickly. To be honest, I rather have you do the next mission.
  19. Perhaps all this buffing isn't needed. If the APC were just easier to fill like in Red Alert. Or having the factory deliver filled APC with having extra cost of course. (Perhaps custom filling? ) GDI still has the humm-vee and NOD has the buggy for normal attempts. But this would be a dream. On a side note, who here has seen how things are done in C&C3? Maybe we can learn a bit from that "version" of the game.
  20. There for I said: The following units would benefit from it: All infantry, Humm-vee's, MRLS, Artillery. If you feel like grenadiers should not have +1 range, then don't. If you feel like grenadiers would over power flamethrowers. I did say All infantry. It is true though that only adjusting prices is the most direct adjustment one can do.
  21. I have seen a lot of good suggestions. But make sure you adjust one thing at a time and take note of the effects. Before adjusting the next. Do not adjust prices. Players dislike that. Adjust the "hidden" instead. I think, range adjustments would do good for the game. If something is to weak. Give it +1 or +2 range. The following units would benefit from it: All infantry, Humm-vee's, MRLS, Artillery. I have yet to witness buggy outranges/dodges grenade micro at the highest speed. So I think that this +1 range for the grenadier will be no problem with most players?
  22. I never liked those 2 missions. Getting the convoy across. Simply due to the fact that you end up destroying a lot/everything any way.
  23. If you are talking about personal messages in the lobby. There is. In the new window, you have 3 options. One is the ignore button. And the person is muted. However, it doesn't stop them from spamming in the main lobby. Or in a game.
  24. I enjoyed that last video a lot. On certain structures, the NOD Apache is a better choice.
  25. Of course these numbers are needed as well. Can you supply us with the calculation? It differs for each speed (and type of terrain?)
