could no longer open game after lastest update

After i installed the latest update, game will crash and wont open. I tried downloading the latest installer but still the same.. So what happened?

where can i see the logfile?

Won't start, 

Refownloaded... Still the same

Just joined up to say the same. After yesterday's update, load screen doesn't show and nada in the background so it dies no error nothing. CTRL ALT DEL shows no C&C executable either. Bummer. Game worked perfectly for years now this! lol

Where your game is installed, and then in the Client folder there will be logs there.

Gmail is 25mb limit! lol anyway, I sent my resources .zip to that email, it should work via google drive link. Good luck figuring out which file is stopping the game from running. 😇

mine worked now too.. So what went wrong?

Mine works but looks windowed, can't change the client resolution (I'm 3440x1440 wide), client resolution stuck at 2560x1440. Txt is a tad blurry and I can see my desktop in the background, that is, no black borders on the centred game. Worked fullscreen before that's a bummer. Can we not just go back to the one before last update? That was perfect albeit that nasty 'connection error' bug on Tsunami map! lol

Have you tried with integer scaling on or off, depending whats been set in your settings? Have a look under display settings

An old client dll was being loaded when it shouldn't have been. Happened for older cncnet installations. The fix was to delete the old dlls causing trouble

It feels a bit like going to order from the culver menu, expecting your favorite meal, only to find that the kitchen can’t prepare it anymore.

I’m encountering the same issue as well. After installing the latest update, the game crashes immediately and won’t open at all. I also tried reinstalling with the newest installer, but it didn’t fix the problem. It’s really frustrating since everything worked fine before the update. Hoping there’s a patch or workaround for this soon.
