Any armoured vehicle can run over Recon Bikes in multiplayer and singleplayer. The unit properties in C&C95 are the same as the ones in DOS version 1.22p.

This thead has no finished maps in it therefore, it will never be moved to the multiplayer maps section.

Late post is late. hifi posted this topic 11 days ago calling for a web developer (among other things) for CnCNet 5, if you have the skills and the time feel free to apply! (by asking hifi on #cncnet on irc.freenode.net)
-
Have you tried the graphics patch? It might help.
-
Those are from the C&C manual: http://cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=49

You should be able to play against the AI in RA multiplayer. Does skirmish work normal?
-
What exactly did you do when the game crashed and does it happen all the time?

Who's HIFI? I want to make a suggestion...
Tore replied to T2 - ForceOfEvil's topic in CnCNet Discussion
I know the forum layout can be a bit confusing, but try to the read the forum descriptions. They should give you a clue for the right forum to post in (I have to do something with this confusing layout) To answer the question who hifi is: hifi is the lead developer of CnCNet. He is responsible for the creation CnCNet 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0. He made the versions of CnCNet that didn't suck to put it that way. hifi is usually active on the #CnCNet channel on freenode if you want to contact him. But I'll point him on the direction of this topic anyways -
Why not look at http://cncnet.org/download? Which the giant download link at http://cncnet.org links to... As for this topic, it isn't that relevant any more locked

Hmm does it sill crash if you change the renderer in ddraw.ini from gdi to opengl?

Over the course of a few days I've been updating the look of the Command & Conquer Communications Center. I felt like the forum needed some extra polish, though I'm not quite done I chose to officially announce these changes. See the list below for the changes. Updated text editor with C&C95 style buttons (still a bit unfinished) Updated general buttons with C&C95 style Added text editor buttons to Quick Reply Extra options in full reply mode displayed at all times (eg Attach) Forum tables now have borders Sticky topics now have green borders Locked topics now have red borders Main site now uses grey text to improve readability Please post any suggestions, comments and bugs in this topic.

cnc-network? What's that? Where did you get Red Alert and exactly when does it crash? Does it crash when you start it without CnCNet? (aka not running cncnet.exe but ra95.exe)

The Command & Conquer Communications Center: 5 years and counting!

And you are? The history page isn't up, just like the about page and others... You mean this page? -
Around this time in 2007 I started the Command & Conquer Communications Center. At the time it was yet another forum, yet another site. I could not imagine that this site would still exist 5 years later. Some people even told me back then that a site about the C&C classics would be largely ignored and that their way of focusing on Command & Conquer 3 was a better idea. Now their sites are gone, lost in the ranks of yet more failed sites. This site has endured because it's rather unique, there are few "active" communities focusing on the C&C classics, there are few communities managing and promoting a simple online service allowing people to play their games without any giant bloated clients. I'd like to thank everyone who stills keeps the classic C&C community running as of today: hifi, FunkyFr3sh, ehy, AlexB and Nyerguds, with an honorable mention to Myg due to past exploits! Let's keep this ship running for another 5 years! (on another note: I actually posted this topic on the right day this year )

lets show 'em the cnc classics at facebook
Tore replied to ConquerorRhino's topic in General Discussion
You may want to read the forum rules again as it explicitly states that posting in all caps is not allowed. As for spreading the word on facebook, good luck. -
The 3.03 patch? That's a Red Alert patch not a Tiberian Sun patch. :/

You mean you left a Windows based PC for a Mac OSX based PC right? Anyhow follow the instructions in this link: http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/playonmac_playonlinux/

Welcome back ROB!

Try to install my installer first then plop the XWIS one over it, hopefully that works.
-
The blue and yellow shield is there because it's set to run as administrator. What I'm starting to think that there might be a firewall or anti virus messing with the download, but if everything else of a similar size downloads fine then that isn't the case. By the way did you try the XWIS download Funky linked to? See if that works.
-
The videos are two files at 1.35 GB combined so it's a pretty heavy download. You can try to download them with a web browser using these links. http://www.cncforums.com/new/user_uploads/MOVIES01.MIX http://www.cncforums.com/new/user_uploads/MOVIES02.MIX But what's the point of that if you can't get the game to run properly? Also can you try and do this command in cmd and see if it finds something? sfc /scannow
-
Isn't that tool used to make the AI rebuild structures? That is already included in CCMap and XCC Editor as far as I remember.
-
Have you tried downloading it again? Works with no issues here.
