Seriously, that's a terrible waste of yellow colours. I can whip up a good cameo palette which retains the full gamma of yellow colours in just a minute -_- [edit] There. Done. ra_cameo.zip

Ah, I don't think cap=win can be combined with Allow Win triggers. It just always makes it win. For passive buildings (like a com center) you could make it of a different side, give them some unreachable power plant somewhere inaccessible, and work with a "# of buildings destroyed, 1" trigger on that house, cancelled by a "Player Enters, destroy trigger XXXX". Though these setups are always kinda hard to get right since the player enters thing would happen at almost exactly at the same time as the lose trigger. Do note, in general, blowing up a building with a commando has the exact same Player Enters effect. So with a commando mission, it's NOT a good way to try to detect capture.

Psssh. I do all of that manually with my own palettes, so I can also avoid water colours and blinking red in my cameos

don't all mods work on cncnet anyway? You just need to make sure only to play people who also have the mod.
-
Jacko: Mouse getting stuck COULD be a cnc-ddraw issue. Try disabling cnc-ddraw in ccconfig, see if that works.

The cap=win trigger is ALWAYS, without ANY exception win=Any,Cap=Win/Des=Lose,0,None,None,0 The only thing you could change in that is the actual trigger name at the start. The rest should be kept exactly. Then you just link the trigger to the building you need to capture to win or destroy to lose.
-
No you don't. It works right our of the box if you use the v1.06 installer. Just run cncnet.exe
-
Why would you increase the colour depth? It has the correct palette...
-
So kinda how it's done in TS after you harvest the actual field

Best timing to port this mod to Command & Conquer 3?!

Yeah... Duuude has a baby to take care of, apparently. -
That's pretty amazing :O (and you used my editing palette. I'm honoured )

Aren't those just maps with extra triggers and rule changes?
-
BawlsCola made that, not me. I just made the C&C1 font, both normal and thinner version. Which, incidentally, can also be found here. I think PuMa was even the one to add it to that pic.
-
Looks great! I'll see if I can find some time to play it.

Ugh. Don't use P4. It's a horrid excuse for a map, and a slap in the face of the Westwood map makers who went through the effort of giving the game nice-looking maps
-
ooh, interesting
-
What the heck is that supposed to mean? The game's an exe anyway. Cross-platform isn't an issue, especially since this is about registry keys.
-
With "break" I mean "unbalance". It's just pure cheating, and pretty lame.

Hm? Oh, yes. I knew that. Took tons of retries before it let me download the damn thing [edit] Huh, I guess the downloads are completely restricted to donators only now? O_o Seeing as neither their guestbook nor forums still work, I sure am not going to try checking if the donation-to-unlock-downloads actually still works. Guess the site's a lost cause. Ah well. I made a better editor anyway [edit] Heh, still got a download link through some clever url hacking. Basically: paste the download link after nahoo.co.uk/cgi-bin/download/load.cgi? Like this: http://nahoo.co.uk/cgi-bin/download/load.cgi?/games/dune2/Dune2-Unit-Editor.exe If it tries to access "downloads.nahoo.net" and is unable to reach the server, just change the url to 'downloads2.nahoo.net' and it'll work again

The Command & Conquer Communications Center: 5 years and counting!
Nyerguds replied to Tore's topic in CnCNet News
Yeeah, Tore, what happened to that old credits page? It used to be on the site, but got lost in redesign I think... I remember you! Though probably because you keep pestering me -
Why would you even want that? It breaks the game...
-
...no offense, but anyone can do that in five minutes.
-
Or open it in xcc mix editor, open the options, enable the encryption, and save it
