  1. USE PLAYLISTS FOR FUCK SAKES!!!... please
  2. I get accused of cheating whenever I come home late, it's annoying. Goldeneye was awesome, especially in multiplayer. I used to use the extremely short Odd Job or the stick-figure Boris; they were so hard to kill (except with bazookas) so I'd win almost everytime and nobody knew why Ahh... good times.
  3. Electronic Arts should do a HD version of all the older C&Cs or Hand over C&C's ownership to CnCNet
  4. So this only happens while recording but it's ok when not recording? Also, how did you record your other RA1 vids? They seem ok.
  5. This looks badasser... http://youtu.be/BfRqrxGQQg4
  6. I haven't had any problems with the updates yet, but just incase I do later on; is there a way to roll-back the updates?
  7. Nice! You guys are awesome.
  8. [*]Does the auto-update automatically download this? [*]What are the changes?
  9. As well as high-end GPUs... I still haven't played this and it's 2015 QQ
  10. Nah, leather's too hot in summer and too cold in winter... (ba boom cchhh!!!) But yeah, a leaderboard for each classic C&C, or even one for ALL these classic C&Cs put together will be cool.
  11. Yeah, what he^ said... vectors, allocated heap addresses... wtf??? I'm definitely in the wrong topic
  12. Kane said that, not me But yeah you're right - Keep up the great work guys!
  13. On second thoughts, come to think of it, even on infinite ore maps, I don't think it's wise to make 2 power plants first. Not to be a smart ass, but can other players please say which one of us^ is correct? Because I prefer knowing when I'm wrong asap so that I can stop wasting my time doing the wrong thing!
  14. I don't think it's a good idea to memorize or even wonder about your 'first 10' buildings. Also, you'll never need to build 2 Power Plants straight off the bat; it's a waste of time and money and you'll be a few steps behind your opponent. After you've built these 4 buildings: Power -> Barracks -> Refinery -> War Factory ...from this point onwards, the rest of your build order depends on a lot of things. For example -if you plan to spam infantry, make more barracks. -if you plan to spam tanks, make more war factories. -if your money is running low, make more refineries. -if you want to tech-up, you'll probably need some defensive structures to defend with while teching-up. -if you've just lost a harvester but you don't want to stop your tank production, build another refinery. -if air support is the best way to assist your ally, make an air field. -if... In short, after the first 4 buildings, the rest of your build depends on... 1. what you plan to do 2. what your opponent is doing 3. what your ally needs ...basically how the game plays out. NOTE: This^ info does not apply to infinite ore maps.
  15. Here's my new log file: fir3w0rx_-_cncnetclient.log.txt
  16. Just a couple of bugs / errors: Whenever I try to create a new game online, I get the error message: "KABOOOOOOOM... The CnCNet client has crashed..." I have attached a screen shot of the full error message as well as my cncnetclient.log file. Also, in Skirmish, I have 'H' set as my 'Center Base' hotkey. But when I press it in-game, the screen always scrolls to the top-middle section of the map, regardless of where my Construction Yard is. I've been using bookmarks as a workaround for the meantime. Lastly, I have 'T' set as my "Select Same Type' hotkey, which selects all the units on the screen that are the same as the one I currently have selected. When I select one of my GDI harvesters then press 'T', at times it works fine, but other times it only selects SOME of my other harvesters, instead of ALL the ones that are on the screen. I've only noticed this with GDI harvesters so far, other units seem to be fine. cncnetclient.log.txt
  17. Nice! I'm no programmer but I'm guessing the 'client' is what allows YR to connect/communicate with CnCNet. I'm really looking forward to this. Xwis was great and still is, but there are pages and pages of really good ideas in the forums that apparently could not be implemented or just simply ignored for one reason or another. Based on what you guys have produced thus far here on CnCNet with the other C&C games, I'm confident that this will be just as good, if not better. Long live C&C!
  18. Any chance you guys can make this support more than 6 players, or at least 6 players + an observer? That'd be awesome. Another question while I'm here; how far along is this project if you don't mind me asking?
  19. Fixed now Thank you guys so much, my weekend is complete now, but my wife will hate me again
  20. It's going to be difficult to get feedback from players at xwis that know RA2/YR inside-out because linking to this topic apparently isn't allowed there (I already tried, but maybe you can PM everyone instead ). For what it's worth, here are my thoughts...
  21. StretchMovies doesn't seem to do anything unless AllowModeToggle is on. Umm.... in TS I'm fairly sure those two were simply different solutions to the same problem. O_o I don't know, maybe WW/EA messed it up in RA2
  22. I'm going to have to download these incase you delete them again I lost your tutorial ones (the 2 vids with you beside your screen holding up the keyboard showing hotkeys and stuff) after I formatted my hdd. Any chance you still have those?
  23. Hmmm... weird. All I can think of is that if you're using an AMD graphics driver, temporarily disable CCC. If not, try asking at http://xwis.net/forums/, there are a few RA2/YR gurus there.
