  1. Well I found a problem with 640x480, but it only happens via the old config program (The one that shows via advanced settings) Try to enable 640x480 via the other config program, it doesn't have the bug. If 640x480 is not in the list then press backspace and type it in manually. In the worst case 640x480 is just not supported and it will automatically enable stretching (gives a different look and feel), in that case you could try to play around with the automatic mouse sensitivity scaling option in the advanced config
  2. Oh, the package actually doesn't contain a lot useful things, it was mainly made to simplify the installation. That means it almost never gets updated... Updates are done for the windows installer only, which in turn is getting downloaded by the launcher in the .deb! That makes things a lot easier, we only have to maintain 1 installer for all platforms. It should set the game language to german by default (If your OS language is set to german too). At least the text+sound effects are in German, the cutscenes not. If your game is in english, then download the german uncensored addon and extract the .mix file into your game directory: https://downloads.cncnet.org/addons/ra-german-uncensored.7z Your game should be installed somewhere here: $HOME/.cncnet/drive_c/Games/CnCNet/ Make sure you enable the german language in the config program afterwards. To get the german cutscenes: Insert the first CD and copy the file "main.mix" from your CD into your game directory. Insert the second CD and copy the file "main.mix" from your CD renamed to "movies-10.mix" into your game directory. You will end up with uncensored text, but censored cutscenes. There are no uncensored german cutscenes yet
  3. I guess you are talking about the campaign? The online version should work fine. For campaign, see here: https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/8799-cc-1-tiberian-dawn/
  4. Updated both packages, works fine on Linux Mint 19 now. Recorded a video of the installation too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6vShmzMdcU&feature=youtu.be
  5. I just tried it quick and it's not working for me either on Linux Mint 19 thanks for reporting Edit: Manual Installation works fine, just played a game! So, until the package was updated you'll need to install the following two packages manually: "wine32" and "fonts-wine"
  6. Yes, just extract all 3 files from the archive into your game folder and overwrite existing files (it will fix the mouse problems)
  7. Yes, that's the right file
  8. You can patch the game or download the full installer from @Nyerguds He didn't update his installer for Windows 10 yet, currently it's broken because it enables some compatibility modes that cause the game to crash. Right click C&C95.exe, go to properties->compatibility and make sure everything in there is disabled. You might have to update the config program too, otherwise it will re-enable the compatibility modes: http://downloads.cncnet.org/addons/td-config.7z The new config program can also fix the bug with the uncontrollable mouse cursor that some users have on windows 10
  9. You probably just have multiple versions of the map and loaded the old unmodified one I guess. If the address is still "004fef6c" then that's the case, if it's different then you got a different crash.
  10. I found the crash in the database, [General] GrowthRate=0 GrowthRate can't be 0, you'll have to change that
  11. @Tor_Heyerdal Crash seems to be related to the GrowthRate of the ore, did you maybe change that? Can you tell us the name of the map so we can search the DB for it and have a look? Or you can also upload it here in the forums directly
  12. You seem to have a rare bug that no one else reported yet in all the years, the chances are low that someone will be able to help you with it. If you are sure that you did everything correctly (just extract "OfficialCnCTiberianSun.rar" and apply TSpatch on top, DO NOT add any other patches such as No-CD patch), then you'll have to test around on your own and see if you can figure out what the problem is. There is probably something special about your PC setup. Maybe you got some virtual CD drives or encrypted drives? Anything that could be confusing the game while it searches through your drives to find the CD?
  13. So it will minimize the game on game start? Can you go back into the game when you click on the taskbar icon? Are you trying to stretch 640x400 to 640x480? Is the mouse just too fast or is it uncontrollable? Does it look like this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSswLamFvnU When you reinstall the game, do you use a old installer or do you re-download the lastest one from the website?
  14. The launchers were updated again recently: https://forums.cncnz.com/topic/21420-bibbers-fixed-ultimate-collection-launchers-updated-to-v120/
  15. All downloads can be found here: https://cncnet.org/download No instructions needed!
  16. Nope, there is no attack move in dune 2000. BTW, You can (and should) watch some of the better players on Shao's channel https://www.youtube.com/user/radim22/videos
  17. I also use "OfficialCnCTiberianSun.rar" for testing. TSpatch works fine with it. I never heard about a problem where it still asks you to insert a CD even though the No-CD option is enabled.
  18. There is no limit, I guess the 4th player probably just had a unstable connection. Did you get a warning prior game start about him having a unstable connection? Lag can also be caused by bad settings, he could try to enable "GDI Mode" in the config program and see if that helps.
  19. What error do you get? Look if there is a file named "ddraw.dll" inside of your game folder. Delete it and try again.
  20. There are no build queues in Tiberian Dawn at all. Are you maybe talking about the dawn of the tiberium age mod? Also, why did you post that in the "Red Alert" section of the forum?
  21. Setting your resolution too high makes it really difficult to play the game, everything becomes too small and you'll get a lot slower. It's the same in C&C1 and RA1 too, most players use lower resolutions, otherwise they'll have a hard time keeping up with the good players. Having more items in the sidebar is a nice advantage though. 1920x1080 is most definitely too high, try 1280x720 instead!
  22. You can try the official freeware release "OfficialCnCTiberianSun.rar", it works fine offline: https://cncnz.com/features/freeware-classic-command-conquer-games/ Extract it somewhere and then afterwards apply ts-patch on top of it (This is required for Windows 8/10, otherwise the game will not work)
  23. What kind of .zip are you talking about and where you got that from? We don't have the game in a .zip here so I guess you got it from somewhere else? Maybe it's easier if you just download our version from here: https://cncnet.org/tiberian-sun Make sure you click on "view All downloads" and pick the version you want
  24. What game installation do you have? Did you buy it from Origin? You can enable the No CD patch manually in case you have a custom installation. Click on "Settings" in the game launcher and then on "Advanced Setting" then tick the "No CD" checkbox.
  25. Pre-release 1.1.4.2 minimap bug should be fixed. auto renderer had a bug too that could cause a black screen and it should be fixed now. https://github.com/CnCNet/ts-ddraw/releases
