TRANG TRÍ KHÔNG GIAN PHÒNG BẾP ĐẸP HIỆN ĐẠI LẠI ĐƠN GIẢN
FunkyFr3sh replied to Alfred96's question in Support
Are you sure this is about dune 2000 or is it yuris revenge? I removed the Dune2000 tag since I'm sure this is not about Dune2000, I can revert the change if needed though -
That's bad, is port forwarding possible on this server?

This is normal, the map is smaller than your resolution and that's why there are some visual glitches. This only happens in the early missions, later ones are bigger and you wont have such issues there. You can open the options menu and close it again to force a redraw. The game was originally meant to be played at 320x200 / 640x400 only. Higher resolutions are only possible because of a high resolution patch added by Nyerguds. He did not increase the map size of the missions since that would change the gameplay and such changes are unwanted. You'll have to live with this minor flaw and in exchange you can enjoy the game at higher resolutions than the original release had.

v2 server is using UDP too, you need to open 50000 udp for playing. TCP is not used for playing. I checked the v3 server and UDP is blocked there too

The domain expired, I heard they're working on moving it to another server currently. Meanwhile, use this link https://www.moddb.com/mods/twisted-insurrection

Right-click on the icon should cancel it, did you try that?

New cnc-ddraw release (Red Alert 1 & C&C95)
FunkyFr3sh replied to FunkyFr3sh's topic in The Tech Center
New nightly build with Direct3D renderer is available now (could need some testers) -
Oh right, I forgot to remove the "Single player" text when I updated the downloads, thanks for reporting. It would also be nice if it could detect the OS and automatically and show the right download on the orange button (not sure if that's possible). We are still not done with the downloads yet and there will be some more changes to make things more clear

I guess it seems to fail silently to bind the udpclient to the game port when you join a game, not sure what to do about that since there is a lot error checking already. Will have to google a bit and see if i can find some info related to your hardware. I assume that the /nop2p will not help at all in this case. It will save the setting, you don't have to type it all the time.

Are you hosting the tunnel on a real server or your pc at home?

There is no clan ladder yet, but you could use this website for now: https://challonge.com/

My game is immediately exit a lan game while connecting
FunkyFr3sh replied to SuperTanker's question in Support
compatibility modes are actually supposed to be disabled, they're known to cause crashes. So, without the compat modes his game is starting, he can see the map and his MCV and then it's just closing without an error message? Disable the compat modes again and try to play around with the renderer setting (there are only a few, you can through all quickly). Does skirmish actually work for him or does he have the same problem there too? -
If you got windows 10 then it's probably a different problem now, you need to download the updated config programs. See here: https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/8821-cc-1-tiberian-dawn-installation-on-windows-10/

So it fails to connect to all players in the room, are you sure about that? If it fails to connect to a few players only then it might be a problem with either peer-to-peer or server connections. You could try to change your game port and see if that helps, Settings->CnCNet->Game Settings->Game Port (just raise the number by 1) UPnP is not really needed anymore, it's just a leftover from 2 years ago where a functional peer-to-peer connection was a must. Nowadays there is no more need for port forwarding and if the peer-to-peer connection fails it will automatically use a server (That means you don't have to change any settings at all, it should always work) If changing the port didn't help then you could try to disable peer-to-peer connections completely and see if it makes a difference, type the following command to do so: /nop2p

Tunnel not working and no "high quality" status anymore.

Are you trying to play LAN via cncnet or via the Play Offline button using the old in game LAN? You can also try the online mode and see if that works -
Save game only works in LAN (network game), not in online games (cncnet is using the online mode) Maybe it can be added in the future, I guess it will probably work

Trying to play red alert 1 online. Seems like cncnet5.exe crashes

You can change it via advanced settings
-
Well, you could try it. TUC is using a older version of the game (2.0), while we use the latest version (3.03) so maybe it works. It's still odd that skirmish works fine, but for that we are using a very customized build of our own. There is no such build available for the campaign sadly
-
I don't really know what the problem could be, sorry... Does it also happen if you enable windowed mode?
-
There was a netsplit yesterday (Servers went out of sync), it happens sometimes but it's very rare and will just fix it self. Should be working fine now again He's a ra1 player, it works quite a bit different there
