Does that only happen with ts-ddraw? Updated to 1.1.3.3, there was a bug that could cause the game to freeze sometimes

We have nothing to do with DroneBL, so no one here can help you with that How long is the ban? Maybe someone can talk to the gamesurge staff and see if they can do something about it
-
Did you install TSpatch already? https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/2606-tiberian-sun-patches-fix-for-the-windows-8-10-menu-problems-and-more/

For YR it's 50.000 UDP + TCP For all other games it's 50.001 UDP Those are the defaults, you can change them if needed
-
Fixed both games, please keep posting here if it happens again. It always seems to happen for you two so there must be a bug
-
Can you give me your settings files? Maybe I can reproduce it (I see you got some special settings there, window mode + custom res for example) Could you attach ddraw.ini and redalert.ini to a post here on the forums? Also, make sure there are no compatibility modes enabled for ra95.exe Edit: Sorry, I missed your previous post. So this only happens once the TV is plugged in? Can you try to change your renderer to DDrawCompat and see if it still happens? (It doesn't support windowed mode sadly)

You can buy a legit copy of the game on origin: https://www.origin.com/gbr/en-us/store/command-and-conquer/command-and-conquer-the-ultimate-collection/ultimate-collection

For the campaign you have to click on "View All Downloads" and choose the "Single Player Campaign" one https://cncnet.org/red-alert
-
You can find it here:
-
In multiplayer games you can enable it with the "Aftermath game" checkbox. For the campaign choose "expansion missions" in the main menu.
-
Just download our version, it's patched to 2.03 already: Get it here: https://cncnet.org/tiberian-sun Direct Link: http://tore29.com/tsins/TSinstaller3-beta11r6.exe If you're on windows 8/10 then you'll need to apply this patch too: https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/2606-tiberian-sun-patches-fix-for-the-windows-8-10-menu-problems-and-more/

What are you trying to do? Installing from a old CD version?
-
The latest config tools do most of it already automatically, all you have to do is clicking on the resolution box and then backspace to delete, enter any custom res such as 960x540 and it will scale it up automatically. I thought about adding such half-native resolutions to the list, but haven't done it yet. If you have an older installation, get the latest config tools from here https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/7782-new-cnc-ddraw-release-red-alert-1-cc95/

It should work fine as long as you don't set your game resolution to 4k. The config program will not even allow you to do that, unless you type it in manually. What is the exact error message? Do you have a file named ra95-crash.dmp in your game folder? If so, could you please upload it here? You could also try to play a skirmish game via cncnet and it should offer you to upload the crash automatically, that's a bit easier than doing it manually

wont be possible for us to do it that way, we have to scale the whole thing up in real time. That's the reason why I want to use OpenGL (scaling it on the GPU). But it may look similar or even better, it depends on what scaling method looks the best for the C&C games. I'm gonna try a few and pick the best ones. For 1920x1080: try 960x540 and scale that to 1920x1080 with GDI That's the only thing you can do now go get a sharp picture, we don't have any fancy scaling methods yet. I could add one quick, would only take a few mins with GDI, but it's too slow for online games... May work fine for singleplayer though. You can try it out on your own if you can't wait for the OpenGL version https://github.com/CnCNet/cnc-ddraw

I was looking into xBRZ recently, will probably add a OpenGL shader version of it cause it's cool. For GDI I will probably not add anything, it's just too slow on the CPU Original: https://imgur.com/0cEbu scaled xBRZ: https://imgur.com/5de2q What's currently the best thing do to depends on what resolution you like to play, you could try 960x540 and scale that to 1920x1080 with GDI
-
Are you talking about the new one? http://downloads.cncnet.org/addons/ts-config.7z New one is stripped down and much easier to use. ts-ddraw GDI will become the default setting and it should work out of the box for everyone once done

Try to apply TSpatch and see if that solves the problem: https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/2606-tiberian-sun-patches-fix-for-the-windows-8-10-menu-problems-and-more/
-
Setting mhack to false works, but now windowed mode is broken and the mouse might leave the screen if you enable stretching. The win 10 bug was fixed in the latest cnc-ddraw, get the updated C&C95 Config from here https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/7782-new-cnc-ddraw-release-red-alert-1-cc95/
-
Yes, GDI and OpenGL is the new ts-ddraw. GDI works better though, I may remove OpenGL on release.
