  1. Added you both We had 20 maps initially, but we are starting off with 10 now (might add more later)
  2. Done. You guys have access to the Ladder testers forum now: https://forums.cncnet.org/forum/73-ladder-testers/ In there you'll find the tutorial to get started: https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/7066-everything-you-need-to-know/ And please report all bugs in there too, or if you have any suggestions leave them in there
  3. Please post in here if you like to help out testing the Red Alert 1 ladder. Once approved you'll gain access to the Ladder testers forum: https://forums.cncnet.org/forum/73-ladder-testers/ In there you'll find the tutorial to get started: https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/7066-everything-you-need-to-know/ And please report all bugs in there too, or if you have any suggestions leave them in there
  4. What windows? What pentium cpu? For very old pc's with XP/VIsta/7 you can use Growlers Guncam, it even runs on a old Athlon XP with 256mb ram. If you have a hardware encoder (exists since 6 years I think) you can try OBS or Bandicam. Newer pc's can easily record with x264 real time encoding (high quality) using OBS Bandicam is easy to use, but not free. OBS is free but not easy to use.
  5. tell us your pc specs, it depends on your hardware/OS which recorder is good. If it's too old then you can't use real time x264 encoding for example
  6. That's nice, any chance you guys can also host the v3 server too? It would help a lot for testing. V3 is the future for chinese, it will make it possible to connect chinese with the rest of the world. With V2 it's not possible, games will lag if not all players are from china.
  7. I just had a look, the game reads the following setting: [Video] UseGraphicsPatch=Yes It's loaded and also used
  8. Reverted to an older version for now, thanks for reporting
  9. What windows is it? Do you have any other security program installed besides Malwarebytes?
  10. Try to replace the cncnet5.exe in your game folder with this one: http://downloads.cncnet.org/cncnet5.exe Start cncnet and when it shows you the message about the failed update, copy it and paste it here. Also, when the map download fails, what Httpstatuscode does the error message show? Note: You can press CTRL+C on any messagebox to copy the whole text quickly
  11. I guess the graphics patch is just not working, it's already weird that it's called "Videobackbuffer" in the client since the game actually has a setting with this name, I guess this bug came from porting the client from tiberian sun where the game doesn't have a "Videobackbuffer" option and so they called the graphics patch that way. I don't really work on YR, so you'll have to wait for someone to look into it. I can suggest you to try one thing meanwhile, enable DDwrapper in the client. Now go into your game folder and look for aqrit.cfg, open in notepad and set NoVideoMemory=1, make sure all other settings are set to 0
  12. Do you have any compatibility modes enabled for game.exe or gamemd.exe that could be missing on gamemd-spawn.exe? Did your singleplayer game also lag like this without the graphics patch or why did you apply it?
  13. CnCNet Client Removed old server list for chinese players Improved error logging Red Alert Fixed M.A.D. tank bug from previous update Improved error logging
  14. There was no update for it yet, but it will probably be released today or tomorrow
  15. I may add a search function into the cncnet client later so you can select maps from the online db just like any map you already have without the need to download it manually
  16. recon error doesn't mean cheat. I've been doing some research recently with red alert 1 and most recon errors were caused by a silly bug that happened when a player selected a mcv (happened over 100 times per day...) I added support for recon error logging for all games, YR support still has to be added via the YR client (server is done already), once done we'll probably going to be able to tell why it happens
  17. http://mapdb.cncnet.org/search.php?game=yr&age=0&search=water fort
  18. I think 5 lines or 2 commands are the limit within 5 seconds. Used to be 6 lines and 3 commands but we changed it cause some guys kept spamming commands for hours all day long
  19. Check your anti virus logs and see if you can find anything there
  20. You can enable it for skirmish via Settings->CnCNet->Game Settings Online you can't enable it (it's causing too much lag)
  21. Are you playing LAN over CnCNet or do you use the old in-game interface? CnCNet should have a little less delay than the old LAN
  22. You can find it on origin: https://www.origin.com/gbr/en-us/store/command-and-conquer/command-and-conquer-the-ultimate-collection/ultimate-collection
  23. You can try Ubuntu or debian, but any other distro will do it too. 256mb ram are enough to run both servers at the same time. You can probably run it fine with a 1mbps connection already, but: more speed = more players. A good provider in china is Aliyun. Don't use CDS global cloud, they're very bad (high packet loss)
  24. I fixed the link for cncnet-tunnel.exe now, thanks for reporting If you are on windows then try to use the batch file, it allows you to change the name easier. I see a new "Unnamed Server" from china, but the port is not forwarded and the server is not reachable Nice, hopefully someone can help out!
  25. You can host a server on a dynamic IP, that's no problem, Carrier-grade NAT would be a problem though. You need to port forward the tunnel port at your router and see if it's reachable, if not, then you are probably behind a Carrier-grade NAT and you can't host a server. If you have C&C1, Red Alert 1, Tiberian Sun or dune 2000 installed then you can run a NAT test inside of the game lobby with the following command "/natx". Post the results in here, in the most cases it's possible to see if you're behind a Carrier-grade NAT
