There are quite a few active clans in red alert (not all are listed there) http://www.ra1guides.com/2016/02/certified-ra-clans.html Don't think there are any clans in cnc1, not enough players I guess

Cool, I'll close this. Off-topic: I been spending a few hours debugging the crash from your map, I managed to to fix the bug and will be available on the next update. Until that you can download the modified version of the map I made below raed.mpr

I have my pms disabled for a long time, it's normal that you can't send aynthing to me Is there also someone else you can't send to?
-
I'm not sure how long the ban lasts, but I think it's less than a day. Can you check here and see if it shows you the ban length? https://gamesurge.net/utils/gline/ There should also be a way to remove the ban instantly without waiting, I guess it's also written on the site how to do that

3 players per ip is the limit for online games, the limit was set by the gamesurge staff and we can't change it. You guys either have to use a vpn or maybe play LAN games instead.

Beta Testing for Mega Compilation
FunkyFr3sh replied to Lightning Hunter's topic in RA Singleplayer Maps
Looks cool. what I noticed so far, missions that take over money from the previous mission are showing up in the list too. You only hide missions that take over units/buildings? -
I just checked, it was set to 150 messages max, I changed now to 300 Maybe inbox was full?
-
Oh, I didn't change anything about that one yet (have no good solution for it yet) But how about the other annoying error that happened when a game was about to start? I tried to fix that one, didn't hear anything about it yet. Does it still happen?

You have been posting it in the wrong sub forums, please make sure to post such things in here the next time: https://forums.cncnet.org/forum/71-flag-a-lobby-rule-breach/ It's also very important to read the text written on that site before you post, especially for you. Or in other words, if you treat us bad, don't expect that anyone is willing to spend their free time helping you. I personally won't be willing to spend a single minute helping someone being unthankful and treats me like a slave. Talking about this:

Yuris Revenge $300 payout for ladders, badges, and clan support
FunkyFr3sh replied to aWarNoob1's topic in CnCNet Ladder
Oh, you guys made personal donations for tahj. I can't know that, didn't hear about any donation that has been made so far. It was sounding like you donated to the cncnet account on our website. I just tried, the donation button also doesn't work for me (probably related to the new website) -
Yuris Revenge $300 payout for ladders, badges, and clan support
FunkyFr3sh replied to aWarNoob1's topic in CnCNet Ladder
I'm not aware of any donation that has been made towards the ladder so far. I know you asked me a few times about it though, but I always refused I would personally never take any money upfront, don't want anyone to be disappointed if there are problems and things take longer. If theres a ladder ready that actually works (without people going fake afk when a good player joins the room!) and you guys want to donate then it's alright I guess, it's your own decision. -
You can only do this via maps at the moment, look out for "Co-Op" maps. The name of the map will tell you the settings, e.g. "2P 4AI" means you'll have to play the map with 2 human players and add 4 AI players. In these kind of maps there will be preset alliances. In normal maps you can form an alliance by selecting a building or unit of your friend and press "A" on your keyboard. (The AI players will not ally each other though)

Does it still happen with the latest version? I did a few changes after you posted here the last time (Could only guess cause you are the only one with that problem) CnCNet will now double check if the game is still running and close it once you join another room. The game will close the connection now early to free the port in case it doesn't close properly and CnCNet fails to shut it down. There are also 2 new commands you can try: The following command will force the game to send all data to CnCNet rather than directly to the players and CnCNet will forward the packets: /bridge If the first command doesn't help then try this one (It will disable all p2p connections) /nop2p

Yuris Revenge $300 payout for ladders, badges, and clan support
FunkyFr3sh replied to aWarNoob1's topic in CnCNet Ladder
Just to make it clear, the quickmatch client is only a must for me (in case I would start working on a ladder again). Anyone else could come up with a better idea if they have one and do it another way. The fact you guys are willing to donate is cool though, maybe someone is getting motivated to do it. For me it's not very motivating though, I already dislike the title of this thread "badges, and clan support...". I don't even want to think about these two features when we don't even have the plain 1v1 quickmatch ladder ready. Clan and badges should come after we have a stable 1vs1 ladder. The quickmatch client would be simple, it's not too much work I guess. But we don't have the server part done for it either, we need something where you can register for a quickmatch and the server will find the matching opponent (Didn't really think about how this part is going to work yet TBH...) -

The quickmatch client was an idea to make things easier, it's a lot more work without it. I already had the ladder running for ra1 and ts, main problems were: 1. Sending additional commands adds more delay, each command adds 3 seconds. (you can already notice the delay now without the ladder, it will get much worse..) A quickmatch client would solve this issue, since it will be a separate application without global chat and no limitations. 2. It's difficult to verify who is actually logged in or not, someone could pretend to be another guy and send fake game results to the server. This probably can be solved but requires even more commands to be send over the server (see 1.) 3. If players can choose against who they play it will end up with a lot problems, they will just refuse to play against good players to avoid losses and everyone will complain. A quickmatch client would solve this issue too, the server will choose based on your rating against who you play (names are hidden so you can't bail, you don't know against who you play). I won't work on a ladder again if it ends up being the same mess again like last time, for me a quickmatch client is a must. -
You are also from the U A E? Cause everyone with this problem comes from there. What game you play?

Red Alert 1 Mission Converter (3.03p-Iran custom missions dialog)
FunkyFr3sh replied to FunkyFr3sh's topic in Red Alert
yea I can have a look -
There is no server used, it's Peer-to-Peer (that means direct connection between players without any server in between). But I already tested that with you when I told you to type in the commands, one of the commands disabled Peer-to-Peer and was sending all your data through a server rather than directly to the players (That didn't work either). I guess you may have a similar problem as the chinese players, they have bad routes to certain locations which is causing lag (packet loss). But they also have another problem, the internet censorship (the great firewall of china) on top of that. They're using VPN's to get around the problem, but that is causing lag too

You press "WIN + G" on your keyboard, then windows will ask you if it's a game, you click on "yes" and then you should be able to record. You can test it here in your browser too, it should also record your browser if you do it right
-
Photon seems to have the same problem, was in a game with him a few days ago and it was slow at the starts just like all your games. He was about to ask his ISP, maybe figured something out, you should ask him. I will ask him later too when I see him

There was no tag cause he posted it in the wrong sub forum (one that doesn't have tags forced!). I moved it over here without any tags, didn't know what game it was about. @Lilly Blanche did a good job helping out with it thanks
