i don't think anyone has plans to add support for such a feature
-
yep, dune is still pretty new here and there are a lot of things that can be added. I will continue with the dune patches, but currently i'm doing some other stuff. The next thing i will add will be the selectable starting locations and the pre-set alliances, those are the most wanted/needed features

Aftermath is included, you have to enable it via a checkbox in the game room There is also a slow unit build option that slows down the tank production speed Tick these two boxes and play a original map with low resources and you should have a total different gameplay, maybe you like it more like this

Use guncam, i know someone who records videos with an old amd sempron 1.6ghz amd 512mb ram and there is no choppyness with guncam

Turn random starting location off (the checkbox) -
No, it doesn't know the keys. It reads all keys it finds under the [WinHotkey] section and lists them, that makes it easier to add new hotkeys without updating the config tool later again

His problem was related to inno setup installers, none of our installers worked. Red Dawn failed for him too I gave him the old installer and the problem was solved. If someone else got the same problem, you can download them here: http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/files/RedAlert1_Online_Installer_old.exe http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/files/TiberianDawn_Online_installer_old.exe

Iran didn't add that, should be added tho my dune patch writes all keys too

Nope, there is nothing about clan games yet. Not sure how those a meant to work, is it for ranked team (2vs2/3vs3..) games?
-
We will soon have some nice videos about the build orders, subscribe here and stay tuned: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6HyYR8PrmOneivDJ9G5M4g

The client is ready to display rankings and clans too, i just need to get the data from somewhere Showing an online player list on the website is possible too, just needs some tiny updates in our stats bot
-
Where did you download it? Where do you click run? The best thing is to download the mini multiplayer version from our sites if you like to play online, the download is just 10mb of size. Get it here: www.cncnet.org or www.redalert1.com
-
that looks like you play a small map with a too high resolution
-
What why? It is not that easy to add support for another game to CnCNet. We don't have anyone here who got the needed love for Emperor to add support for it
-
Yes it looks a bit unreal when you see the size of the downloads The data on the cds looks roughly like this: 400mb Videos 70mb Music 25mb Core-Game (Unit graphics/sounds/binaries) So we took away the music and the videos, compressed it with a good compression methog (lzma) and ended up with small downloads having a size of just around 10mb All CnCNet downloads contain Online/LAN/Skirmish Skirmish works offline too, but on the first start the client will downloads all the needed files (maps etc...), on the second start you can launch directly into the skirmish lobby without getting any updates via the skirmish button in the game laucnher you can find on your desktop

Yes, i cannot add this here. Dune2000 doesnt have that much strategies, it is mainly abotu fast clicking just like the other old games we support here. The ones with the best production win most of the time, if you take that part away then there is not much left of the core gameplay. A player who just downloaded the game owuld be able to produce at the same speed as someone who has been playing 5 years online non stop, it would be taking away the competitiveness/addictiveness. And like feda said, we would separate the small Dune2000 community like this, we don't have enough players to split them
-
I don't think this is going to happen, at least no one is working on that ;(
-
It was 2 weeks ago already, so if you have played in the last 2 weeks without problems then the lag must have been caused by something else
-
oh nice, good to hear that The peer-to-peer test is currently broken since we started to hide the ips of the players completely. You can still play p2p games, but you will have to type the following command to bypass the test: "/notest" You should only do that if you are 100% sure that you and all the other people you are trying to play with have really opened the port, else the game will fail to connect!

Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert 1 and Tiberian Sun are now available as a single download in our new Wineskin package for Mac OS X! The package contains the same goodies as our Windows packages (Map editors/Game Launcher/Multi-Language), get it now! Edit: https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/10238-macos-downloads-removed/

We will fix it if there is a problem, i gave TRZ the old version so he could test it. But i didn't hear anything from him about it, not sure if his problem is fixed he just left the server The updates we made were for windows 8 users, some people had problems with the scroll speed (different speed in each direction), others crashed randomly while scrolling the map. This update also solved the menu problems and the performances issues for our testers

does that look like a ladder is coming? http://cncnet.org/leaderboard yes, friendlist/clans could be added once we have accounts working for the ladder
