  2. I think its safe to say the link between RA and TD storylines involving Kane is... well.... weak and messy. Notice how he was completely ignored in RA2
  3. those "new missions" are the covert ops expansion missions. whatever happened to the main story missions I don't know

    This is your problem with any balancing, a lot of units/buildings are balanced by cost simply so you can't own 1000 of them, including air units and larger defense structures. You take away the money limit and certain more powerful units become uncounterable, which is a bit dumb.

    They both have loads of micro, heck RA is all micro (and dull) T-Dawn offers the best gameplay out there, its just on a much older engine that lacks the features the TS engine has. 4 hours of tib sun was entirely seen to my eyes of either using cyborg commandoes or dropping disruptors on things. Its about as dynamic as a brick.

    the short time I played Tiberian Sun I mostly used the MRLS as GDI's Hit-and-run Unit.
  11. Soon, I submitted my (80% complete) mission for the map contest and im guessing after they've been judged and tested the mod will be released with a few missions.* *this is a guess, you'd have to ask kilkakon himself

    wow guys calm it down for the love of everything good. All I've ever heard from the Tiberian Sun community from the last year is Hate, raging and just generally being assholes. Are you all constantly like this? Nodrescue stop being a complete asshole and everyone else learn to man up and ignore his crap.

  14. Yeah I built all the complex stuff and forgot the basics of win/lose..... oops. At least it's as simple as blow everyone up -> you win and all your stuff dies -> you lose.

  17. yeah triggers-related stuff with RA is a little bit limited when trying to do certain things. My favourite being the need to have maybe 3 or 4 triggers to force a player to capture something, and then lose if it is destroyed after
  18. well destroyed# units apply to said owner Losing that many units, so you will want to set said trigger onto the enemy they shoot at for them to lose the 5 units. (I'm guessing this is multi2)

  21. if you want trigger M1R2 to activate you need to force it not destroy it
  22. destroying the trigger stops it from activating also listing your trigger settings in more detail helps (things like activation, trigger, temp/constant w/e)
