what kind of mod? some of them are rules.ini - based, some have different SHP images for stuff and some are standalone

you've answered your own questions. .mpr maps are for RA2 (there is a map size limit, I believe its Length+width > 256) .yrm maps are for Yuris Revenge. As for singleplayer stuff, I have no idea.

or you can just ignore them. I ended up creating 3 seperate installs of RA One for CnCnet, another for other random stuff and a 3rd for Mods

something like <event> timer set 500 timer start that should give you a 50 minute timer. Also if you put the trigger type to constant then every time the trigger is set the timer restarts.

Yeah. the game either lasts 5 minutes or 5 hours. No fun at all.

There is no "main" CnCNet client, there's two separate clients. The other (FunkyFr3sh's one) is used by TD, RA1, Dune 2000 and (currently?) TS, while my client is used by DTA, TI and YR. Ah I understand now. I thought this was brand new and written only for RA2/YR

if in a 1v1 someone starts with 3000 credits I just take the risk and spam 14 million grenadiers. Because I can.

I enjoyed the same concept, but wildly different results Particularly as I only had RA1 (and for a bit RA2) up till I got TFD for about 5 years most of my music taste is similar to the tracks like: Hell March 1 and 2 Backstab as a personal favourite Arazoid Traction Roll out and a couple others My favourite tracks from all my other owned C&C games... Mechanical Man (Tib Dawn) Act on Instinct (Also Tib Dawn) On the Prowl (also Tib Dawn) Grinder (Red Alert 2) Killing Machine (Tiberian Sun) All pretty god damn awesome tracks.

I don't think testing the game is any problem, given the game already exists as a finished product. Its more about successfully porting the game to work via cncnet is the thing. (And whether or not they can actually be bothered - there is RA2 classic mode already enabled through YR) I think if they want to do anything with the YR client it would best be some form of integration of that into the main CnCnet client.

we get what, 400~500 players now? Back on cncnet 4 something like that would've been but a dream, its not so bad. As always some more Tiberian Dawn players would be nice

I think in Tiberian Dawn FFA games you manage to make someone ragequit you are entitled to salvage their base all you like (because its left there with no AI controlling it) - of course having a 2nd base makes you a popular target Mattattack - cheers for the feedback. Also I beat your first mission (woo) but I only had a quick looksie at the other ones, I've been a bit busy.

My problem with the allies is their economy is terrible, but Yuri does not have the same problem, so before the game has even started Yuri has double the power over the allies (Given their general Battle tank is the same)

You can't give tanks the spy effect, thats hardcoded onto the spy (and cannot be removed or changed). The only stealth system you can do is by making the unit visually invisible, like C&C1's stealth tanks or Aftermaths Phase transport using Cloakable=yes

eh, some of the unit balancing in RA2 (mostly yuris revenge) is pretty dumb. Almost the entire allied useful firepower was added in YR imo.

If its crashing on the map screen animations (in particular the GDI and Nod controlled areas) you need to just wait until its finished and then you can select the next one. Same applies to the score screen. I don't know if this is the problem this is just my experience.

I'd say this was a RA2 thing. Also I'd reduce the number of Veterancy levels to 1, so the unit is better, but get rid of elites which just blow the whole balancing out of the window.
