I did get attacked by a lot of Apaches, but only after attacking their base first. I used the Ion Cannon on their base defences instead. -

I just finished the mission. It took me about 30 minutes, which includes knocking down the two Nod bases. Nod makes a pretty good effort, especially with air strikes and Engineers trying to capture tanks. Slowdown wasn't too bad and pretty much on the expect level for SAGE. -
One small recommendation: Increase the HP/improve the armour type of the GDI Arms Factory. Unmodded, it's basically made of styrofoam.

Nice. This is one of my favourite maps in the original game. Back in the day, I thought this was the final map! -

I most likely forgot about it because the German version of C&C95 didn't come with The Covert Operations. There was a Windows release of the main game and a separate release of the main game plus expansion.

It could also help with making translations more accurate. Many languages have longer words on average than English, or require more characters for the same amount of information.

Well, you said it's C&C 95, not C&C Gold. Anyway, PSmplay is my go-to ripper for PSX FMVs. However, I don't know whether it does other file types too.

Youtube does not only support 4K, it even supports 8K. The only 8K videos on Youtube see to be a bunch of demos, though. -

That'd be awesome! Like playing Snake with the shroud. Technicians aren't even a unit you can build, but I'd give them an honourable mention.

I like Mechanics. It's nice it have them hang around landing pads or other buildings and heal units passively. I don't count the Technician, since it's a unit you cannot build (without modding the game). Against the AI, certain units have no effect, like the Radar Jammer or the Mobile Shroud Generator. Even against a human, the MSG makes it IMO easier to notice things on the radar. Limpet Drones are pretty infamous. They make okay scouts, though, as they can float over water. I'd never build them, though. The Wolverine is just terrible compared to the Buggy.

Try game or window recording instead of display recording, or run the game in windowed mode.

Well, the two bases cover about 75% of the map, so there's only so many places where they can be. -

One last thought on this mission: GDI doesn't seem to use the Ion Cannon all that frequently. I didn't count the time between strikes, but if it's not too much work, maybe give them a special Ion Cannon with a shorter cooldown time?
