Nothing trigger related to those. It was somehow counted and stored throughout the campaign process. I never saw any actual code of that, though. I remember reading in some interview with a WW dev that it was taken out because, on top of some savegame related issues with it, starting a mission from the New Missions list is obviously treated as a new blank slate "campaign", meaning that without the required amount of crates being collected "in previous missions", player nukes refused to work in The Covert Operations XD -

Anyway, on a next one I suggest you include steel crate pickup mechanics. Be sure to mention that you can hide them below buildings, they're impossible to pick up by the AI (and are, in fact, impassable to them) and that with infantry it's technically possible to touch the edge of a crate and make it disappear without actually triggering the celltrigger. -

Haven't watched Ep4 yet, so dunno what you covered, but... Celltriggers, SAM-destroy-to-airstrike mechanic, the 0-1-2 trigger repetition types shown on commonly used triggers? [edit] Oh. Well now. The repetition thing is exactly what this one covers :laugh: -

I've seen Neutral build civilians, though, when given a barracks in Multiplayer mode. Neutral can build exactly the things that have the owner set to Neutral. I was kind of surprised the AI built them while I had it set to build soldiers. Multiplayer AI is weird. The multi-houses, in contrast, are "filtered" to either GDI or Nod in Multiplayer, so technically they can build anything. -
transparent ingame menu background is caused by the "hardware filled blits" game option. In C&C1 anyway.

I think we all know about that... In fact, this behaviour (the fact you keep the construction option) might be a bug related to the fact the unit is technically buildable by both GDI and Nod. -
Yeah, talking back to mods isn't earning you any brownie points either, man. To be perfectly honest, I don't care exactly what was deleted. I am commenting on a general trend, and you're most certainly contributing to that trend, especially by further derailing a thread after a moderator removed a post specifically to prevent thread derailment. Anyway, this thread was derailed pretty much from the start, so despite the valid points in the original post, I'm locking it.

Looks like you at least grasp the point about free speech that cn2mc so totally missed. This isn't about world views, or online ethics. This is about power. Cry and whine all you want, but it doesn't change who are the moderators around here, and who are the normal members. It's the plain and simple truth. We try to be fair, but yes, we can more or less do as we please. That said, I'm getting really tired of every single TS/YR thread here turning into a shitstorm because you guys can't control your urge to whip out your e-penises.

Oh, wow... What about Dune II's WSAs? The existing encoder (of the Red horizons toolset) had trouble with the remapping colours in these files; probably a result of certain decoding techniques not going on to the remapping algorithm while others did. [edit] I know you said that, but could you add png as input type, though? PCX is annoying since it needs an actual editor just to preview it in Windows. (By the way, I edited your post for readability. Using double lines between paragraphs is a very easy fix for "wall of text" )
