I'm fiddling with making a single-player mission of my own but I'm running into a nightmare problem where the game crashes every time I try to reinforce in a teamtype from off the map. Even weirder is I have 2 teams of migs come in fine but anything else coming in just immediately crashes.

I think artillery can do something similar, although I've never deliberately caused it to happen, it just happens at random (like every other feature of the TD artillery haha)

because how can you make that work if there is more than one other player in the game? I think the auto-resign is a really nifty feature, and I want to see this in Tiberian Dawn as well

No, no... if he'd planned it as Kane should've, he would've told his own people what the plan was. In TS, Slavik is praised for being the only one among Nod who dares to think and act decisively instead of just using Kane's disappearance as excuse for complacency. In TW, Killian is executed, for doing exactly the same thing Good point, maybe this links in some random way to when Seth was executed by Kane while attempting to lead an attack on the US, although when that happened Kane just didn't give a damn.

Nod used the media so much in Tiberian Dawn to sway people and heap pressure on GDI, of course leading to GDI funding cuts and a huge increase in Nod support. The Quote being "The media tell the people what to believe and we tell the media what to believe".

Yeah I played this mission yesterday, it's where you have to steal Ion Cannon codes and then escape in a subterranean APC There are 3 control stations to infiltrate though, as opposed to just one.

That's not a sneaky tip that's just how an RTS was meant to be played (at least in most cases - RA1 doesn't count) - My point being the Tiberian Dawn Nod vs Nod games I get, I will use maybe every Nod vehicle in the game in those battles.

When running TS (with any sort of fix or patch) I either get nasty menu glitches (which is explained here) or run into hundreds and hundreds of crashes. I'm using windows 8.1 and am playing entirely for the singleplayer (because multiplayer looks like arse). One other thing, if you play with a second screen when you drag over to the side to where the screen is pasted the mouse actually moves over, and so clicking meant the game tabbed out, and crashed ¬_¬

I've successfully run singleplayer off a USB drive, so multiplayer maybe works

I use OBS, because you can get it compressed on record, which doesnt fill your hard drive in 5 minutes

I'd love a bit of sole survivor if I ever had the chance to play it.

It was a fan-made map that I had seen a few times. Like the majority of fan-made maps you will need to get it from playing it with another player who has the map.

When I loaded it up in winter type I got a bunch of weird cliffs and textures appearing, but when I tried to make it in desert XCC just straight-up crashed on start.

The Engineer joke had me in stitches. So good.

I do sometimes use sandbags to protect my weapons factory/ construction yard, although not in a way you would expect.

I hope you can beat That Nod mission faster than I did The (albeit noobish and inexperienced) player I was back when I first met it took a year to beat it

The same logic applies in RA - I found this out the hard way, and yes it is incredibly annoying.

If RAED was updated with better trigger support, maybe Iran's additional triggers (hint hint) I would be thrilled. I do remember RAED had some kind of jungle/desert theatre support

I like making maps I just lack the ability to make all of it... (I sort of rushed it and I could never get a good balance where auto AI attacks actually worked properly) I also add my comment of how it combines 2 of my favourite C&C missions - see if you can work out which ones.

I'm not sure you understand the concept of what a Ban actually is then.
