  1. you've reached the maximum unit/building limit in-game. my suggestion is stop playing spammy and unlimited money maps and play RA properly
  2. just occasionally the game randomly comes up with an error like this and instant closes in-game Iran or Funky would probably give a better answer but that's generally the case
  3. so say I made a map where <insert country here> gets a special unique unit (i.e. 5tnk] would the rules.ini section of it look like this? [5tnk] Owner=Greece Cost=x sight=y speed=z etc. If this map would be loaded into the cncnet5 database how would everyone get the new .shp files?
  4. I think RA and C&C had similar numbers of units but then aftermath added quite a lot so I'm not sure
  5. RAED occasionally gets a saving error. after you click 'save game' if it says error then try saving again
  6. I'm hoping you mean to the right and below abort mission. Basically Version 2.00 is the Aftermath Expansion, which is when megamaps were introduced

  10. yeah. if only 3 guys didn't pop out of a SAM site every time I blew them up then maybe those commando missions would've been more fun XD
  11. well if the first 2 C&C games have taught me anything its to try pressing TAB when the sidebar disappears
  12. the only problem with adding new units is that everybody playing will need the new .shp files and sounds (if you added them)
  13. yeah autofiring tanya would be really OP, like in RA2.
  14. use waypoints 0-7 on RAED for 1-8 start points
  15. have you ever seen a button saying something along the lines of random spawn locations. I really wish people READ the settings and screens before they complain about something thats right in front of them ¬_¬
  16. I think the 2-disc stuff was better (i.e. GDI Disc and NOD Disc etc) only needed to buy once to play with a buddy
  17. yeah I remember the old voices on the original mission CD, but were patched out for TFD
  18. They hate you even more if you insta-quit causing the entire game to lag for 15 seconds (RA) or 5 minutes! (TD)
  19. I would hate that wheres the fun in scouting players and the map? knowing everything that is going on dumbs the game down too much, but not as much as infinite money
  20. remember grenadiers have prerequesite=barr whereas allied barracks is [tent] so you cant build them unless you have soviet barracks
  21. it looks a bit odd probably because we can only see one face of a 3D object in a 2D environment, which IIRC is why in RA2 and TS they're rotated, so we can see the 3D effect.
  22. yeah I don't see any problems here You do get to kill a lot of allied stuff you know (civilian crap counts)
  23. because apparently it caused desyncs :/ although it was a bit weird when a super-powerful player resigns and all his stuff takes like 5 minutes to explode
