  1. That should be TS DDraw as I copied it from the client's resources folder and it was named "ts_ddraw.dll". It gets renamed upon copying to client's main dir during run time. Which you already know... Though it is what comes with the client. I read the posts and saw you worshipped the GDI version over the NOD one, so I used that one first. However the GDI version made FA2 crash so I immediately tried the OGL version to same results regrettably. Why drop OGL, think about the Linux and Mac players! I replaced the "ts_ddraw.dll" in the resources folder, so the client should copy it over automatically without issue. Though I noticed that during online play the client doesn't give the modified files warning, which means it would be possible to load custom dlls into the client like this and no one would know. Phone posting so sorry about the shitty structure.
  2. Game performance seems fine, however in-game menu performance is still rubbish. Whenever groups of players use the in-game alliance option the menus lag the game to a crawl in the first minute, also due to that lag, it will often take several seconds for the menu to register a click causing some players to spam the alliance checkbox making matters worse.
  3. The old one used to speed up Final Alert 2 performance as well, the new ones (1.1.2.0) makes it crash!

Why would you ever consider playing it on a Phone? xD

    Hi

    No. Do you speak English?

You don't need a serial on cncnet, just need the game. Download from XWIS or buy from origin for a cheap 5er.

Hunk is that you? You big boon!
  8. I'm calling @ZiGZaG to delete this bs conversation.
  9. I had every intention of using his maps in multiplayer and if deemed fun enough get them added into cncnet map pool. I wouldn't be motivated to comment on poorly designed maps with no potential.
  10. Why even start the conversation then?
  11. I think you gotta stop trolling and do something actually useful with your life unless what you consider useful is being the forum's hypocrite. Then, please go right ahead and sit on the erect number of my forum posts.
  12. Once they learn from their mistakes, which will cause a lot of gameplay problems on their maps. Also, they can speak for themselves, go be a keyboard social justice warrior somewhere else. Are you his boyfriend? How would you know what he cares about or doesn't?!
  13. You shouldn't that editor is made for MO not the original YR, could cause issues/bugs in the original game. @Speeder Have the maps been tested for backward compatibility with vanilla YR? I can see that your cliffs are missing some tiles (not all of them), just from the preview images and the bridge graphics are glitching through the cliff tiles. I marked the possible problematic areas below.
  14. Seems the map editor is loading Mental Omega's files.
  15. I can see that you're still not making your cliffs properly, which will cause pathfinding bugs when giving units move orders in-game.
  16. I was thinking about the same thing today. This is much needed, seeing as many make new nicknames every month. @Grant @dkeeton
  17. You can always count on laming! Until it fails! ;'(
  18. Thanks for giving C&C Classics a chance to survive! https://youtu.be/K5G1FmU-ldg
  19. Me too, which is why it's hard to agree with anyone. xD
  20. Avast is rated as one of the best free anti-virus solutions... The difficulty of the process for reinstalling Windows depends entirely of the version of Windows he's using, also the amount of personal files he will need to organise and backup and the software he will need to reinstall. Your input is based entirely on assumptions. Acting like some annoying know it all teenager is not a good way to give help.
  21. Yeah, I forgot to mention that.

  23. @lhtkick Download and install the following. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/list-of-visual-c-redistributable-downloads/aedba11c-4f78-40f1-99a4-fe6b3a54f424 x86 if your Windows is 32bit / x64 if 64bit
  24. Why uninstall the anti-virus when you can add the files dkeeton mentioned to the whitelist/exclusions? While Lud0wig was basically trolling by acting like a kid, I wasn't joking around. If you turned off your anti-virus and your explorer.exe crashed while running the game that's evidence that there's a problem in your operating system. I personally don't care if your computer blows up, steals all your money or gets your imprisoned for participating in a bot-net, if you think you know best then do whatever you want.
