Blank screen

I am trying to play Tiberium Sun on my mac book pro (I know not ideal for gaming but im using what I have). 

As soon as I start up the game from the menu I am met with a blank black screen, However, I can hear the game, select buttons, go through the menus but I can't see it.

Ive tried to just install the skirmish/multiplayer version and ive started a game and all sounds normal, selecting units, music etc but I can't see it!  Im running Mojave 10.14.1

Well, this problem has been around this the release of mojave, no one figured it out yet unfortunately

I don't have a mac so I can't test, maybe you play can around with it some more. Did you try through all different renderers in the tiberian sun config already? Did you try windowed mode?

I heard about someone who also had a black screen initially and then somehow managed to get it to work, he said "No that was a Mojave permission problem." - Not exactly sure what he changed (I'll try to find out...)

No luck, the menu looks like this if that helps

Could you try to go into skirmish and type this: /install cnc-ddraw

Hit the launch game button and see if it works now

Still just a blank screen, its really frustrating, the game is literally right there, just cant see it

It works! The ddwrapper renderer seems to work, although it didn't before home brew install. Could be a combination of the two?
