  1. Are you sure about that?! I already said that BuildingTypes, plural, have a property called Adjacency. Fairly sure it can be defined per building. It could in RA1, at least. But it's entirely possible RA2 added some higher classification to that, I dunno. Never modded that game.
  2. Right-click C&C95.exe, open its Properties, and enable Windows 95 compatibility mode. I should really fix that in the config tool...
  3. It's technically defined per building, but overall, if I remember correctly, it's a few cells for normal buildings and a bit farther for defense buildings.
  4. Grant, "ddraw.dll" isn't necessarily TS-ddraw. I know at least 3 different versions of ddraw overrides now... Took me his other thread to figure it out, but he's asking to add this one to the list of ddraw overrides that is allowed to be used for the game. I assume this means cncnet deletes any ddraw.dll it can't identify or something?
  5. Hmm. I don't recognize that mammoth tank render. It has an odd lens perspective too.
  6. Just download the patch from its original source, then you know it's safe. The files you have there, as far as I can figure out, are from http://www.nongnu.org/wined3d/ From the Steam forums: (https://steamcommunity.com/app/215930/discussions/0/846956740704592766/) Seems it was used as patch for Jagged Alliance 2, but if it works for RA2 too, then that's cool, I guess. I don't think it'll get any particular advantage from the 3D stuff though. There's another fix like it, called DDWrapper. The official home page for that is http://www.bitpatch.com/ddwrapper.html If you use that one... download the zip file and extract "ddraw.dll" and "aqrit.cfg" into your game folder. Then, open the configuration file "aqrit.cfg" in Notepad, change the "ForceDirectDrawEmulation" option to 1, save the file, and launch the game. As you see, both of these put a "ddraw.dll" file in the folder. These files are not the same, so these patches can not be combined. Use either one or the other.
  7. Man, I don't know. I bought this on a marketplace. Not even sure it had a brand name on it.
  8. ...the OpenRA Dune II mod, or Dune Dynasty?

  10. It's a kind of... subtle sweet taste. You seem to be going more for the MOAR SWEETNESS! if I'm interpreting that recipe correctly XD
  11. For C&C3 you just need to start the -ui interface or start the mod from command line directly. It actually has built-in support for mods, unlike Generals. It might need the fixed launchers though, yes.
  12. I reconverted all of the Retaliation videos to VQA, this time without dithering. I downloaded Funky's pack for it, edited in the modified files, and created a version for each language out of it. -The Lost Files v3 - English -The Lost Files v3 - German -The Lost Files v3 - French I edited the links into the first post Honestly not sure how well the exe would work on non-English versions though. I didn't look at the changes or replace it with the French/German v3.03; I just plain copied it. But you shouldn't need it anyway
  13. That's a pretty good theory. By its nature, it's very well possible Built It is never checked before Production is active, since it's deemed impossible to build anything before that. Peculiar that the game would have some kind of "production" status for the player too, though.
  14. I honestly have no idea; I don't mod these games.
  15. That's not XCC Mixer. It says so right in the program's top bar. That's XCC Mix Editor, a different tool from the XCC Utilities set, which is purely for adding/removing files from mix files, rather than for viewing their content. Find and start the one actually called "XCC Mixer.exe" in the utilities folder.
  16. Eh? You can add attachments to the same post perfectly fine. As long as you don't uncheck the checkboxes of existing attachments, the old ones will remain.
  17. Doesn't look like it plays much like Dune II though. From the airstrikes and the way the siege tank shoots, this looks like it's just Dune 2000 with a Dune II skin.
  18. Fact is, at this moment it's simply one single channel for TS/RA2. Same with the C&C1/RA1/D2k channel.
  19. YR and RA2 are simply separate executable files; you just need to launch the right one. But here on cncnet, that would mean the patches required to integrate the multiplayer system into the game would need to be done twice, and for that reason they chose to instead make a "RA2 mode" through rules tweaks on Yuri's Revenge for offering plain non-YR Red Alert 2 online play.
  20. wait... what exactly did you install / combine? The cncnet packages should never be combined with older patch packs.
  21. The config file zoom hack, or your graphics driver settings? btw, I got the scrollwheel set to scroll the sidebar, since I really scroll the sidebar more than I change the game's zoom level, but apparently the way Dynasty himself played the game was by basically scroll-zooming in and out instead of scrolling the map, kind of Supreme Commander style. Hence why the scrollwheel (without ctrl) defaults to map zooming.
  22. Does C&C3 even have drop pods? Not to mention, it pretty much starts with Philadelphia blowing up...
