I think you might have a compatibility mode enabled for ra95.exe. Can you please go into your game folder, right click ra95.exe -> properties -> compatibility and disable everything in there.

That's a really bad idea, it needs to be done properly

Can't you host a "Automatic" game? It's better than p2p cause you don't have to worry about anything, it will always get you connected without any port forwarding or settings. If you also fail to connect in a Automatic game then something is blocking cncnet, double check your firewall and anti virus

if you play in 640x400 then hold shift and click on the speaker. If you use a different resolution then you'll have to click somewhere else. Try to go 600 pixels from the top left to the right or something like that Edit: I just tested it, seems to work in any resolution. Just hold shift + click on the speaker

I can't play Red Alert 2 singleplayer anymore since installing C&C Online.
FunkyFr3sh replied to Athena's question in Support
there is a file named ddraw.dll inside of your game folder, you'll have to delete it and it should work again. This problem should be fixed soon once the YR installer was updated -
Your site really needs a face-lift, looks like 1996 still
-
No, the server recieves a .zip file with all 3 map files inside. You need to check each of these files and verify that it actually really is a map and not something else. The .ini is plain text, should be easy to check. The other 2 are binary, you actually need to understand the format

Unban UKIP And Ban BUMRUSH Please Read Admins! And Sort this Out!
FunkyFr3sh replied to XGalaxyZ's topic in CnCNet Discussion
I have not heard of anyone reporting a guy named BUMRUSH so far, also couldn't find anything in the forums about it. When there's a problem then make sure you let us know about it by posting it up here in the forums. Afterwards use the Ignore feature in the game lobby too. We can't always know who started it off, so we can only do something if someone was reported my multiple users. -
You probably have DPI Scaling (Zooming) enabled. You can disable it globally in windows or disable it just for the game. To disable it for the game: Open your game folder and look for the game executables, right click->properties->compatibility, disable high dpi scaling

Wow, that's very cool! Will have a look into it soon and going to add it on the next update, thanks! any chance you could do that few words from the "launcher" folder too? Then TS would be complete

I would suggest that you actually try all servers and write a list so we can actually know which ones work and which ones not. If you are really sure that it's not your provider then maybe some data centers blocked ip's from your country (because of abuse?) Could be worth a try to send an email to them and ask. It was working earlier cause some popular servers always worked, but now these servers are gone (e.g. gruntmods server)

That's very cool, good job

Anyone knows more about "RA2OL" in China?
FunkyFr3sh replied to EmuSirius's topic in General Discussion
It seems to be cncnet with a new skin from the looks of it. But our YR client is open source, so it's all good I guess. We have nothing to do with them nor do we know the guys behind it -
You won't find a solution here, no one of us has access to the servers of your internet provider... In other countries they're blocking many ip's too (e.g. china), nothing we can do about
-
If you see the admins then you probably have a bad filter enabled, try to play around with it some more
-
Check my last post, you probably have to host your own games on a server that works for you. Another option would be a VPN. OR, ask your internet provider for details, maybe it's possible for them to unblock the ips

This was already answered here: https://forums.cncnet.org/index.php?topic=7333

solved with the latest version, thanks for reporting. Closed

The files are named different on CnCNet, rules.ini = spawn.xdp and aftrmath.ini = spawnam.xdp (just rename yours) mplayer.ini is not used anymore, but if you have some useful changes in it then just copy it into spawnam.xdp

You can find a "Maps" folder inside of your game folder, in there just create a new folder (e.g. "New Maps") and place your maps inside of that folder. Maps inside of .mix files are not working, it must be .map or .mpr I think. On ubuntu you can find the .cncnet folder inside of your home dir, in there should be a drive_c. Look for Games/CnCNet/TiberianSun_Online in your drive_c

Did you maybe enable the friendlist or a filter? Check the icons in the top right over the player list
