RA is single core only anyway. You should be getting RA from http://funkyfr3sh.cncnet.org/ As that comes patched and with cncnet 4

Its also worth noting that most retaliation tracks are just remixes of RA1 tracks

Easy You can find most of the retaliation tracks online and the mp3 files can be copied from YouTube. Then you convert them to .wav and then use xcc mixer to convert them to .aud Using xcc mixer the cnc TD tracks already in .aud form can be extracted from scores.mix. Then paste them into your RA directory Then use music.ini to add them to the game

you can get the savegames on all the missions from somewhere (not sure where, but I have them) concerning SSM launchers they're only for NOD in covert ops but I don't think you can build them skirmish against the AI works but the AI don't get an mcv for some dumb reason

yeah that seems like a better idea if you can do any particular battle live then that would be what you can show How many TD players do we have anyway?

Yeah You might be right I tried making orders for subs to attack a bridge but I couldn't do that

having played through the missions again I would like to add one of the NOD 8 variations to that list... really annoying mission but helps if you play a variation of NOD 7 where you get a base and then proceed to save lots of money (I have managed to capture the entire GDI base in 7c though)

aye for some of these features we would probably have to completely rewrite the whole game.... and besides I have my own ideas for that...

ah I see ok fair enough but I still think there should be symbols depicting whether a client plays TD or RA or is currently on the IRC

hey I'm on TV! some fancy new updates there and can't wait for some cool new features. Altough I have a suggestion: Is it not possible to have a 'check port' feature on EVERY player? Because its annoying when a player without it open joins a p2p game and doesn't tell anybody A bit like cncnet4 asking if you have your port open for p2p. maybe even a little key/symbol next to a player determining if they are a TD or RA player (or both), a symbol if they don't have p2p and maybe one if they are connected from the IRC just a suggestion feel free to disagree but I think it would be useful.

I couldn't work out how to get the airstrike though I use the harvs to block the bridge at the start and use south advantage to kill the guys and the humvees before they get past I actually managed to keep all 5 flame guys alive too

1. This is a good idea, and quite frankly dealing with bike rushes is the hardest thing I still have to do 2. sounds useful but not sure if it can be done 3. How exactly would that work? just randomly buy an airstrike out of nowhere? Again I'm not sure it can be done 4. Given that gunboats can only move horizontally this would have very little use, again I'm not sure this can be coded in or made to happen The only person AFAIK who could maybe do that is Nyerguds and since he already said he doesn't want to change gameplay in any shape or form I don't think its going to happen.

teamtypes bring in new ones sometimes I think if you give them an empty helipad and then create a helicopter team-type to come in from off the map they will go to those pads when orders are complete works with planes too

thought I'd bump this topic by saying ha I did it. Like it or not I had to use the stealth tank so I could Squish all the enemy commandos because AI controlled commandos are just argh.
