Hi i need help i want to know how to update the game because when i try to play custom map it keeps telling me i have to update the game so how do i update??

I suggest you to make a proper topic next time

I never heard of such a thing before, the client prompts you to update it every time you join (or make?) a game with a custom map selected? Can you take a screenshot when that happens? Also, have you tried to reinstall CnCNet YR on a clean YR (updated to 1.001) installation?
