  1. If we could get MP3 downloads or something of them, that would actually be good. I certainly know of other people in the past that were looking for some. esp Destructible Times xD (because awesome) You could chuck it with the C&C95 downloads on cnc-comm. That space needs some love.

  4. Could you maybe make them a 'wall' (overlay) copy, with different graphics? Like, the concrete wall. That way you'd have to use explosive weapons on them, as well.

  6. Yeah, it looks good, maybe the overhang could be with each second pixel missing, so that you can see through it, like a transparency? TBH, it'll look good either way Cool stuff, keep it up! -Liam

  8. No, I know that map. There's an unowned ion cannon on it. I think it's somehow connected to a civi building. Yeah, it'll target things just like the normal Ion does, but I think that it will basically just keep targeting a 'random' player (actually, knowing cnc95 there's probably a formula for how it picks it, so it's not actually random). Yes, it's stupid. More and more, I find that I'm only REALLY happy to host a game. Else just accept that there's probably going to be something stupid. -Liam
  9. Yeah, same here. I've had people then just say 'no flyers' as a result. They often don't understand the unit match ups either. they build heaps of rocket men right away. You can walk in with like 3 grens and kill them all. Unfortunately that basically does nothing, as losing units is no real issue when you have 99999999 credits -Liam
  10. I considered it, and if I had, I would have won. But I've played people before that start with little cash, who are looking for a longer game (they start with less to draw it out). I decided to be nice and let him have his game. Turns out he just wanted a cheap win. In a game with no ladder, I do question 'why?' and 'is this person really enjoying this?', but each to their own, I guess. I also often like to play people who are a lot worse than me, and then give them pointers and tips, to help them get better. Obviously, in this case, all that just goes out the window. -Liam
  11. And who's grafaz? sounds like someone I need to play, haha. But seriously who cares... today I played a guy that started on an open map with 3000 credits. He drove his base close to mine and then just engied my con (I'd gone 2 ref with low troops to get started). I just laughed. It was silly. I really don't care. -Liam
  12. No one cares, lol. If you want to play FFA it always happens, if you play people who are friends, of course they're more likely to team up. If you don't like that, just either play 1v1 or 2v2, simple Or just become goo enough to take on 2 people! xD -Liam

  18. Well I just used WPs 0-3, that should be fine? Pretty sure that's the same thing I did on PinWheel. But I have players starting up on top the the cliffs (where you can't get away). In fact, I've never yet had a player start on a WP. I don't even know how it's choosing such random positions to start at -Liam
  19. Hm, the spawns always seem to bug on this, the players don't start at the right places> Nyer, you wouldn't know why that is, do you? -Liam
  20. I personally didn't mind the fast cargo plane, BUT; it does scare me a little that this change just went strait through. It freaks me out a bit that there might, in the not distant future, be a lot of these types of changes implemented. Obviously, this is exactly the sort of thing which you're posting about here, Myg. So yes, please, for the cncnet developers, please calm down a little. Yes, the games are imbalanced and there are issues, but we know and play these games, and love them anyway. -Liam
  21. I think you should make a ladder for C&C1 and not for RA1... just to see what people will post. Grab the popcorn guys, this is entertainment at it's best! -Liam

  23. Again, go check out my mod, haha. The Mobile Gap Generator can actually be quite effective. Drawing out the slow ROF from either V2s or Tesla Tanks, so that you can then engage, before there is time for the units to reload, you can do a lot of dmg. -Liam
  24. Low scroll rates and doesn't use hotkeys properly, yeah. Again, though, only gonna work on people that are new to it. As it's not really a weapon. Even the mobile gap ACTUALLY effects a small skirmish. (Although not well in RA vanilla/AM... seems to work better when the units move around a bit slower). -Liam
  25. Only if they're silly enough to care... That's literately a tactic that only works because people don't usually do it. -Liam
