Can YR be made to support Steam overlay and can you zoom in while in-game?

I have tried adding various files in the game dir as non-steam games but it does not work. I have also tried zooming in while in-game as at 1080p everything is rather small, can I get help with this?

Play on a lower resolution

The engine doesn't support this.

YR does support steam overlay!

I'm running the game through a steam shortcut and the overlay works in game, on Windows 10 with TSDDRAW renderer.
