You could try to download the files in your browser instead: http://funkyfr3sh.cnc-comm.com/files/RedAlert1_AlliedDisc.rar http://funkyfr3sh.cnc-comm.com/files/RedAlert1_SovietDisc.rar Once you have the files downloaded start RA1installer again, but this time choose CD-Installation and browse to the folder where you downloaded the two red alert disks.

-WARNING- The map contains possible cheats! Do you really want to play it? To get rid of the above warning you can request whitelisting of the chosen map in here. 1. Host a game room and select your map, wait until someone joins the room to ensure the map was uploaded to the CnCNet database 2. Click on the -WARNING- button 3. Copy the Checksum+Name and paste it here Example: 7e67e317e654218cccf5836158976c4ee8888fee=(MA) Tiberium Island

Red Alert 2 Ultimate Collection - Menu relocation and mislabel
FunkyFr3sh replied to Anarasha's question in Support
if you select the renderer cnc-ddraw (d3d9) on cncnet then most of these problems should be gone. The sliders are still misaligned but that's not a big problem though, just looks a bit weird. The problem is caused by high dpi settings that you've enabled in windows, you could set it back to the original 100% to solve the problem completely -
Red Alert Ladder Discussion Discord Server
FunkyFr3sh replied to FunkyFr3sh's topic in CnCNet Ladder
This is for Red Alert 1 only, don't think you're playing that -
We have a private discord server for ladder players set up now. Players can suggest maps in there and we're also going to have polls. Everyone who played at least 10 ladder games can join. Post here if you want to join or send me/robskate a message on cncnet. Note: This is for Red Alert 1 players only.

43 minute disconnect, when game was over
FunkyFr3sh replied to Ford (retired)'s topic in CnCNet Ladder
Yeah it looks like crush probably won, he had double the tanks and a lot more buildings he could still sell. Yuz had some turrets, but doesn't look like it were enough to win stats are now visible again: https://ladder.cncnet.org/ladder/4-2020/ra/games/133625/205983 -
Yeah you can do that. I assume you're trying to play on CnCNet, right? Go to your game folder, open the "INI" folder and then open "cnc-ddraw.ini" in notepad. Set "width=3840" and "height=2160" and save the file. Start the CnCNet client. Click "Options" Select "Display" and under the render options, select "cnc-ddraw (d3d9)" Set your in-game resolution to "1920x1080" Click Save. Play a skirmish game via the CnCNet client and test if it worked (Note: the gameplay will be fullscreen, but the options menu is not, that's normal...)

Maybe one of these here? http://mapdb.cncnet.org/search.php?game=ts&age=0&search=king of the hill

Yeah you have to make a backup of the file Oh co-op maps are not really a problem, this is only a problem where AI players build on their own (no reinforcements...). You can start the game in single player mode rather than using cncnet, the skirmish in there doesn't have the patch.

.dmp files should be supported now. Nope, but I guess it's fine to post it in Mapping Discussion if the crash is related to a map

The map hash doesn't help me if the file isn't on the server

Yeah that's a bug, the way the limiter works was changed because it often resulted in a game crash in multiplayer games. You pretty much hit a new limit now a short time before the old limiter kicks in. In human vs human games this isn't a problem, but looks like some changes need to be done to get it working with AI players too But anyways, if you play just offline with AI players then open spawn.xdp in notepad and raise the limits and you should be fine! ; ******* Object Heap Maximums ******* ; These are the absolute maximum number of these object types ; allowed in the game (at any one time). [Maximums] Players=8 ; ipx layer limits this to 8 maximum Aircraft=150 Anim=100 Building=650 Bullet=50 Factory=32 ; 32 is minimum for 8 player game Infantry=550 Overlay=1 ; special case -- only needs one Projectile=20 ; projectile types, not actual projectiles Smudge=1 ; special case -- only needs one Team=60 TeamType=60 Template=1 ; special case -- only needs one Terrain=500 ; trees and rocks TrigType=80 ; trigger types Trigger=200 ; triggers themselves Unit=650 Vessel=150 Warhead=10 ; warhead types, not actual warheads Weapon=55 ; weapon types, not actual weapons

Hm, show me a map that doesn't work and i'll check. If you copy the whole rules.ini into the map and it's getting too big then the server will refuse the map. If it's ts map and you try to add a custom map preview image then it will also refuse the map.

0.0001 seconds You just host a game with a new map and if someone joins who doesn't have the map then it will be uploaded automatically (but only if it doesn't exist on the server yet)
-
If there are too many units/buildings on the map then no one can build anymore. It's not a cheat, it happens for all players in the game. Once a unit or building was destroyed you will be able to build a new unit/building, whoever clicks the fastest will be able to build it.

CnCNet Client Several bug fixes and improvements A lot performance improvements, should now work fine on older hardware as well

Oh, that's bad You could try to start the game without CnCNet and click in the main menu on Network. I'm not sure that is actually working with the origin version right now though, but if it doesn't then post here again, I probably got the solution for it.

Tunnel server setup not showing in game
FunkyFr3sh replied to ryanlloydpmb's topic in Tunnel Servers
I promoted your server and it should have the "High Quality" icon next to it soon. If your ip changes then we'll have to promote it again manually, there is no way to do that automatically right now... Server will still work fine without the "High Quality" status though, so it's not a big deal -
CnCNet Client A lot performance improvements (Hopefully it can handle the 2000+ users at peak now without too much loading time!)

Tunnel server setup not showing in game
FunkyFr3sh replied to ryanlloydpmb's topic in Tunnel Servers
You'll have to port forward 50000 UDP + TCP for the Yuris Revenege server (cncnet-tunnel.exe) And 50001 UDP for the other games (cncnet-server-core / cncnet-server.exe) That would be nice! We never actually had a server in that region, it would help a lot. Oh, don't worry about the hardware, those servers are not very demanding. A Raspberry Pi would be enough... -
Tunnel server setup not showing in game
FunkyFr3sh replied to ryanlloydpmb's topic in Tunnel Servers
The list is cached via cloudflare and it can take a couple hours (sometimes up to 4hours) until the servers show up. I saw a South Africa server earlier (it was a V3 server for td/ra1/ts/d2k), but that one didn't work (no response, port not forwarded). Currently there are 2 South Africa servers in the list but this time for YR, so you will probably see them soon as well. -
Can you please upload the map you were trying to play?
