  2. All these problems came from unability Microsoft to create software with compatibility principle - bunch of noobs. Every new OS has problems with software were made for previous OS. You can solve this problem by going to the Microsoft and kicking each progremmer ass and sayng: "You are to do this shit working properly with RA2 and any old stuff, noob". And don't forget to slam their faces into their desks if they try to say something about their marketing departament doesn't allow them to do that.
  3. Here are so many people and nobody looked into old topics about RA2 and YR differences. You guys forgot to mention in RA2 you can "wash" yuri brains (release mind controlled unit) by force-fire on ground. Please look into old topics and check if you missed something.
  4. I like the idea of random creation tech buildings, and i hope you used balansed randomization list for that. I don't think it's good idea to make .ini changes in pvp gameplay, they make map really worser! Only AI improvements seems would be good. However, try to make and add a list of .ini changes and make a map without them. It's much appreciated you complied the map name standard used in the game. But the first letter should be uppercase: Snowyness (2-6) From the given preview i can't say much about cliffs detailisation. Switch your map editor into "framework mode" and check if same cliff tile number repeats too often. Try do use different numbert to make cliffs to look more natural. Too many trees "planted" along the cliff on the bottom island. Move them in some random order. (Maybe use different trees, if you used only a kind of it?) I'm sorry, i can't download and check your map more carefully at this time, but generally i love this map and I want you try to fix the things i mentioned above, that's why my post might be look so critical. Map really good among all of the maps other playerd doing and I'd rate it like 79 of 100. A really worthy map to play on, but still uncompleted a bit.

  6. I don't like the idea of time maps rotation. Don't change maps. Put all of them into QM. You can make different % chance for each map in QM output. This better.
  7. Rampastring told you the main thing, but he told too much and it's hard to understand for most people. The main thing is CPU: Graphics card doesn't make lags in this game.

  12. Don't forget all infantry in YR stronger. And it's harder to kill a rocketeer. Only dogs still the same and that's suck. Because 1 shitty GI easy kills a dog of the same price, while dog initally MUST be a perfect infantry killer of low-tech level (barracks, no lab no radar).

  15. The only worthy topic for talking about game! I had same questions when just stared to play + some other similar kind. My answers: Chrono legionare freezes their time and they they fall to remain in the past. Buildings are protected to the radioation, vehicles are not. You have to understand the main mcv concept: MCV - is a mobile construction vehicle which constructs a Construction Yard. Normally undeployable (campagin). But soldiers inside ConYard seems working hard to undeploy it back - in skirmish when you have "MCV Repacks" option enabled. Miners are robots with AI and are not vulnerable to radiation. Defense buildings have an AI too, because crew doesn't leave them when you sell them. How yuri prime comes to control them(defenses)? Bug in YR. These buildings must have infantry comes out when sell (YR). For RA2 it's ok. EA made the game illogical here. Same for Allies, allied buildings always blue on the sidebar icons. Ofcouse this is related to the game engine - more difficult to make sidebar colors dynamic. But in the ingame-universe aspect this can be explained as the color on the sidebar is the native color of your side (Allies - blue, Soviet - red, Yuri - purple). So if you pick red color and start the game as america, your sidebar icons will be blue, your sidebar will be blue, your progress sector (percentage of build) will be blue, even the metal of your buildings and tanks will be bluish. You can't avoid that! Same for soviet side and for yuri. Purple - kinda between red and blue. International friendship . I didn't think about that much, but can we suppose vehicles have an additional lamps to light on the shadows? ... to be continued. Have 2 go now.
