Red Dawn (RA-1)

I'm not getting the error. What version of do you have? It is listed below Exit Game on the left side.

That is the right version and I can't make it give me the same error. I used my XP SP2 and Win7 computers and both are working fine. I did get the same error for mission 3 on my XP computer. I have no idea what the fark is going on. I will have to ask Iran about it.

Hi! This is my first post in this forum. I made my own TD-RA conversion a few years ago (later modified it for ARDA) but I only found this thread today. Please allow me to demonstrate my work in a few pictures:

I like many things ARDA dose but can't really be used since it lacks online support. Also nice green effect on the Tib Refinery. With I had thought of that.

Allen262: That's a shame :( your mod is really fantastic, I admire the weapons factory, I was thinking on adding it too, but I freaked out when I realized I need to transform it a lot to make it look nice. Your solution however is simple and elegant :) Btw I used the Allied TC to be the GDI Adv CC, and modified the graphics to accomodate the satellite silo.

 

Nyerguds: If you don't have ARDA installed, you can't modify the refinery's foundation layout, so the third tiberium tank is there to make it appear that you really can't walk on that square (as in the original RA ore refinery).

 

I also modified the MGG to be the Visceroid, however MGG doesn't turn to fire on its targets by itself, so maybe I'll try another unit. I succeeded in making almost every other thing behave the same way as in C&C.

Ahh. Clever. I'm not that familiar with the RA foundations :)

Tschokky: You can tank any thing you like from the mod. Make sure to use the old "Red Dawn 2012 Installer" as none of the 2013 building will work in stock RA one any more do to editing of the Matster Palette and .shp graphics

 

Try adding Tracked=yes to the MGG. This should make it work.

The tiberium mod into RA really promising since Tiberian dawn didnt have a skrimish and hoping in future someone can make tiberian dawn have skrimish, but onliny time will tell however

put 50 units on mobile headquarters and see how many kills you can get

arranging your army and exploiting the AI is key to higher scores

No. Allen did an outstanding job with Red Dawn. I've done it too, shame it's not internet gameplay compatible (war -> weapons factory, mouse.shp done)

I think I can draw you guys "proper" desert rivers and shore tiles.

      i was just playing a 1v1 in red alert 1 (CNC Remastered), and witnessed something that really stunned me. i soviet rocket submarine fired on one of my turret guns from, what seemed to me, an impossible range. i added a screenshot for clarification. maybe someone can take a look at the replay and tell me what they think.
      i have played this game for a while now (in the remastered iteration), and have my share of experience with rocket submarines (quite a pain in the ass). but i have never seen any of them take a shot from such a range. when i watched it happen, my eyes popped, and i immediately thought it was a cheater.
      can anybody confirm to me that this is legit? i tried to reconstruct the situation myself afterwards and could NOT fire from this point to that point from that range, my submarine automatically moved in at least one square and fired then. in this situation, the sub was standing still and kept shooting at the turrent until it was destroyed.
      is this an error, a cheat or just some insane range of an overpowered unit?

      Hello, I played C&C and RA many years ago. Had it downloaded on my old Mac laptop (unfortunately stolen in burglary)! Does anyone know if the Mac version is still available? I can only see a Windows version? Any help gratefully received - miss this great little game! Cheers, Tor

      Good evening, I apologize for disturbing you so late in the evening but I would like some help so that I can reconnect with the players of the game because I happen to be muted ....
      I fully understand my mistakes, however the players had the privilege of getting out of the penalty and I would like to have a chance. My approach is going in the right direction so that everything goes well in the future and that I will live up to an image.
